George is one of my favorite boxers; he is in an era where boxers are fighting to be the best and will not hold back because of money; they are more on their legacy than money. George exemplifies power, greatness and respect.

I was in High School when Foreman KO’d Smoke’n Joe in 1973 and then got KO’d by Ali in 1974.  Good Times.  
Thanks for the memories George.  

what if Ali/FORMAN was is a temperature controlled arena?

My answer is unlikely only bc Ali had smarts at his craft but we'll never know.

No Rematch in US?

I Think Forman quit shortly after the ALI Fight or he had a cpl more after and just didn't have the drive so he became a Pastor

I stayed at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas 7 years ago.  They had Ernie Shavers and Leon Spinks at a table signing autographs with boxing gloves for sale and all the other boxing paraphernalia.

I remembered them as the most brutal pugilists of the world.

They were on exhibition like rare animals in an animal museum.  Spinks was more slight than Shavers.  They both could’ve easily killed me.  

But, to my amazement, they were just a couple of old guys, talking and just killing time.  

I tried to be cool, but they knew, I knew how cool they were.
