seriously, these shootings are getting out of control. it makes me sick to read the news these days.

When the politicans shipped our jobs out of the country you are starting to see more and more of this happening.  I am not sure what happened in this situation, but when people lose jobs, etc. they probably feel hope is lost and they seem to want to take it out on everyone else and then themselves.  Not trying to be negative, but just take a look around.  How can you not feel for those kids.  They are just going to school and some idiot decides to take them out.

I actually feel this same sort of sentiment. Losing hope appears to bring irrational thinking.

From the preliminary stuff I read, this was VERY well planned out. That to me means we might be talking psychopath.  And there is no cure for that.

But we will see.  Not many details yet.

This guy had military equipment.  I don't think this was a guy who "lost hope."

It makes me sick that these shootings continuously come out of the states. FOR darn SACKS GET A OF HOLD OF YOURSELVES DOWN THERE!!!! What is happening to you?!?!?!??!

This is by far the worse mass shooting that have taken place in this country. Just wow.

Kids are pretty cool though - parents are sobbing and they just calmly report what happened.

Phuck it. Hire vets to guard our schools with any weapon(s) they so choose to pack. They can handle any situation and respond immediatly.

Kids will be safe.

Rip and thoughts and prayers go out the victims and families that have lost their lives in this senseless and tragic act.  What is wrong with the people in this country that cause someone to go to extreme to kill and take innocent lives  Rip kids in Danbury!

If this guy was a psychopath, there was nothing anyone could do.  He was going to go off somewhere.  The only cure for that is a bullet in the head.....and that, unfortunately, usually comes after many others are dead.

Nothing can be done but surely there has to be something to blame for these psychopaths acting this way?? Hip Hop music??? Punk Goth music??? Video games??? Horror films??? Surely something has to be at the root of the switch going off for these wackos to flip???

It's a cultural thing. The U.S. is just a violent culture. Just look at all the wars they are starting - they love this as much as Al Queda loves taking down towers.
