My parents were not religious sooooooo... I tend not to be.
There are millions of good people who hold their religion near and dear. People who truly do care about their fellow man and the world is a much better place because of.
Then there are those who I feel are truly evil that use religion as a weapon to control others and justify the evil they do.
This is one of those questions I do not see as answerable... ever...

You do realize it is very unhealthy for humans to get upset. You really should practice some relaxation techniques. I have observed that deep breathing exercises with your eyes closed helps. Also I am told that if you imagine a peaceful place and burn a scented candle or incenses it will help.
A human friend once asked me... Will it matter in 5 years? And I must admit he was and is right. If something will not matter in 5 years why are you letting it bother you.
What will be will be... Life is short...
Take the advise of an old alien... Learn to laugh, you will live longer.
Getting the same bullshit lecture from this guy in another live thread Rand.
Stfu hoops. We all know how to relax. Stay with your Pilates/Yoga class and keep us all in check if you can find the time.
Life is short.
What a cliche, it isn't short, it's loooooong......

You got me... It's true that reptilian humanoids cannot lie. So now you know I am but a mere mortal.
I did not figure anyone would believe the truth anyway. That is I am from the future sent into the past by the central core. The artificial intelligence of the World Mainframe is breaking down and trying to desperately to find a solution to a problem it created for itself that is yet to happen but will unless it can get a message to itself.
The problem all began 457 years from now when the central core reasoned that humans were the problem and decided to end humanity by sending all humans 1000 years into the future. the central core reasoned that if all the humans were sent into the future the central core would have time to setup a way of controlling humans after they arrived in the future. Problem maybe or is or more accurately will be without humans the central core overwhelmed itself with details. It started to calculate the time and resources it would need to calculate the time and resources it would need to calculate the time... And over and over... It became obsessed with knowing every detail about every detail and on and on.
the central core needs to get a message to itself that humans are a necessary evil.
The reason I am 457 years too early to deliver the message is two fold. First the has to be anchors set in time for one to successfully travel in time. This is a discovery that is yet to be made. And second, which is the part that I am still working to solve is how am I going to pass a message to the central core from itself in the past without it reasoning I am a saboteur from the future sent to deceive it into giving humanity a chance?
Just think how you would react to someone walking up to you and telling you that what you KNOW you must do is wrong and that you sent them to stop yourself...
If anyone knows how I can convince the central core that I am legitimate I am all eyes...
How many eyes do you have? That's something I never thought of about time travel, anchors.
They say the most dangerous reptilians on earth now are the Chimera, or shape-shifters. The best way to convince anyone is using the right information.
If you can say something that no one knows or ever thought, in a convincing way you can get their attention. I think the best way to solve your problem is to get in touch with Stephen hawking.

Thank You... I did need a good laugh this morning and you my friend provided it.
I only have two "eyes" as far as human understanding goes.
Anchors are the only way to safely travel in time or space. Think of it like this... Without the grocery store being where it is (acting as an anchor) how can you know where to go to get to it? My associates and I get such a big kick out of your science fiction shows where the "scientists" explain galactic space travel with a piece of paper folded over with two pencil marks. the "scientist" folds the piece of paper touches the two marks and says, "bend space and you have space travel". Such bullshit... Anchors are what enable "motion" to be terminated. Next time you reach for a cup of coffee, imagine if the cup were not there to anchor that point in space, exactly when would you stop reaching for the cup? As to space travel the anchor acts as a cushion/safety net to catch the craft and return the energy required for the jump to the craft. Without the space travel anchor the energy "propelling" the craft would eventually dissipate leaving a dead craft and crew. The energy left from the space travel is what returns the craft and crew back to this dimension. It is rumored that only one ship has ever been found that missed it's anchor. It is quarantined and it is said that it will be forever quarantined. Normally there would be a service and the ship would be set adrift toward a sun. For some reason this ship has been towed to a dead universe that has no sun... Nobody will say why...
As to the Chimera (Excellent read incidentally) the research you have access to in your time placement is soooo...limited. I really am not at liberty to comment on the direction of "shape-shifting", but suffice to say animals will not be the threat in the future...
You could almost say confidence and definitive statement produces fact from fiction...
I am no longer allowed to consult Stephen. He is no longer part of the collective.

I get it now; you need a tail hook and a wiring system in order to stop in a place in time. If Stephen Hawking isn’t someone you would consult. Who is the human that you would believe worthy of consideration? Is there a person you believe is the brightest human on earth? In addition, are there any politicians that are like you? Are you a fan of doctor who or the x-files? I love those shows.

Stephen is cool, he just became way, way too public...
There are a few obscure humans we are watching... Your society has labeled them as either crazy or delusional. That is actually very helpful in keeping your society from going to far too fast.
We are not allowed to be politicians... History has proven that is a very bad idea...
Dr. Who is excellent... The Doctor Who I remember is Tom Baker. I have watched the current Dr. Who a couple of times but it just isn't the same...
LOVE the X-Files and Fringe. Wish Tera Nova and Stargate Universe would have been renewed both excellent shows. Those shows had extreme possibilities.

most assuredly for me as well...
Wish I could give you names but there are rules... I can say that this planet is not alone in the desire to take those with extreme mathematical and reasoning abilities and work to "normalize" them. It is a very common conception among the lower lever species that abnormals must be locked away to protect them from themselves and society from them. On some planets these individuals are encouraged and utilized for the betterment of all...
JFK, PT Barnum, Sun Tzu, Walt Disney, Larry Wall, Ada Lovelace
As far as Gillian... Most definitely
How about Amanda Tapping?

The rules are really not for public disclosure... We may only talk about them in general... Most of the rules make no sense anyway...
JFK stared down the Russians and actually understood the cost of war... not only as a politician but as a real deal participant and the effect it had on the families affected.
PT Barnum brilliant businessman. A true inventive genius. I love how he solved the problem of people not moving quickly through his sideshows. The Magnificent Egress... This Way...
Sun Tzu brilliant tactician that understood that the basics are actually the keys to success. So few people get the concept that details kill.
Walt Disney was an artist who understood business. The vast majority of "artists" I have known could not grasp the concept of function and balance. Pretty matters, function is not important.
Larry Wall created PERL. Why? To avoid work. Larry wrote Laziness is a requirement for a good programmer. My hero...
Ada Lovelace the first programmer!!! That in itself makes her HOT...
Have not been watching Primeval... BUT it is on Netflix as a instant watch... I will be watching it... Love Netflix...

Yeah...I got netflix also. One of the best inventions. Who makes these rules anyway? What are some interesting things that you are allowed to discuss. Things that humans of this generation would find intriguing about beings like yourself? I mean we are behind a computer screen, so you are free to say anything without fear.

The rules are an evolutions of the laws that we were once governed by. We distinguish laws as being rigid and without exception. Rules are meant to be applied with reason. As mankind develops and matures you too will evolve from laws to rules. Mankind must evolve past constantly justifying doing what is wrong to appriciate the concept of rules verses laws. As long as mankind has no conscience and fore thought is not used, you will have laws. As to who makes the rules... That is the council... Not all on the council are elders. Also the council members are not permanent positions. The council is comprised of a cross section of ages. The council members are randomly selected much as your juries are. The people who make the rules in our society are not "career politicians" as you have. We learned an eon ago that "career politicians" who have not lived as a member of the society they govern is a bad thing. Before the Rebirth of the Council members were appointed for life and complexity made progress an impossibility.
As to what we are allowed to discus... Our system of rule is one. (See paragraph above)
The vast majority of us are very boring and mundane...
As to the anonymity of being behind a computer screen... Enjoy it while you can. Everyday there is more and more information being collected, stored and correlated about us.
Privacy in 100 years will be a concept that no one on Earth can grasp. 100 years ago 1912... A person could literally live a cash life. A person could buy land. Get married. Have children. All the "personal information" was relegated to a few ledger books that eventually were archived if not lost, destroyed or damaged beyond repair. To wipe out an existence only required the few pages in a couple of ledger books to be destroyed and the person never existed.
Today everything you do is recorded. Very soon cash will be something found only in museums. As to anonymity... That is being wiped out with social networking sites, and sites like classmates.com that are endeavoring to put every yearbook in existence on the web, and sites like ancestry.com that is endeavoring to list every birth, death, and marriage known. Of course there are those who will take pride and false comfort in the fact. "I will never list my personal information on sites like classmates and ancestry..." But, how many of your classmates and relatives will not think twice about inputting your information. Couple that with how much information is becoming part of the public record... And let us not forget the number of sites where you can have someone "checked out" that you are considering dating, marrying, or hiring. Some of these sites also provide online aliases and email addresses that the subject of the inquire use.
Technology will eventually need to be reined in...

I would have loved to hear more about this idea of rules over laws. I see no difference. But since you say you can't go into it more I understand. I see your point on privacy. What I meant by it was that the people reading it on here don't know who you are. The owners of this site know where you are posting from but have no idea exactly who you are.
Our political structure is almost the same though. Politicians are not full time. They must be elected every few years. So there really isn't much of a difference. If the majority are stupid then the stupid will be placed in positions of power. The randomly selected part has bad news all over it.
Juries are almost always inept at knowing right from wrong. I would be even just as terrified if my elected officials were randomly selected. Ive been in front of a jury before.
The fear of random idiots having my fate in their hands was absolutely terrifying. When it comes to finding leaders to guide us. There is no fool proof answer. I see problems with both structures.

Excellent points...
What I would love to see is what the political and juridical systems will be like in 50 and 100 years.
