Depends on how many alterations you think there would be "off the rack"

Do the sleeves button?

Does the lapel button work?

Is the interior lined?

Do the shoulder seams lie flat?

The bottom of your jacket should reach your fingertips at your side. Do they?

Is he tossing in a shirt or tie that goes with your suit?

i tip everyone but i wouldn&#x27;t tip the tailor. enough is enough. &#xD;&#xA;i pay 5 bucks for a coffee just because they&#x27;re nice to my dog. &#xD;&#xA;i&#x27;m calling no tip on this one.

These people get paid for their work. If you have an emergency and they go above and beyond, I can see it. But for doing their job? Not so much.

No tip for a tailor.  I&#x27;ve had many suits custom made or altered over the years and have never tipped my tailor.

Would you tip a barber who owned the shop? no. Tip your tailor if there was a happy ending beyond the cut and drape.

If you have the money to get tailored. Then YES, you should absolutely tip.

People who have money that stiff are just bad human beings. There is this guy that works at the Avalanche front office I see somewhat frequently at my bar. I hate the guy - easily makes over 100k a year and never - ever tips. Even his friends have come up to me apologizing, and not just one occasion. You don't want to be perceived to be like this guy.

Yes, I tip my barber $10 bucks each time on a $10 haircut.  All service professions make shitty wages.  Tips make their day.  They will remember you and give you some of the best service.Hell, I even tip the guy that works at the liquor store.  The only people I don&#x27;t tip are people who work strict cashier jobs only.  But for anybody performing a service, bringing something to you, giving you good advice, adding to the atmosphere - should ALWAYS be tipped.
