Park City nightlife is great, but has character/not just a party place like a lot of other ski areas. Cool as hell people there, and I guarantee it that you'd be pleased with it.
you remember any of the bars or restaurants you went to?

Harry O's - Biggest and best club of PC. They will have a pretty big name band play on New Years Eve. The place to be. Cisero's - Dance Club. Very poppin. O'Shucks & No Name Saloon - Local beer bars Next to each other. Jeans and a hoodie. Live music.
Restaurants --
Riverhorse - Best restaurant in PC. Spendy but a perfect anniversary dinner spot El Chubasco - Best Mexican spot in the area Happy Sumo - Sushi & Saki Viking Yurt - Look into this. 30 minute sleigh ride up the mountain to a Yurt. No electricity, no running water. Chef then makes you a 4 course meal. Its great. Probably almost booked already for that week so look into it now.
Make sure to look into the Utah Winter Sports Park at The Canyons. You can do a luge/bobsled ride on the track that they did the olympic runs. I did this last year and it was one of the funnest things that I have done. Very expensive but its a once in a lifetime type thing. Worth it.
I will add more to this as things get closer

I went out to Whistler, BC last year and had a blast. I'd consider myself a dumb beginner skier, meaning I'm dumb enough to get in situations like this. But there are cat tracks from top to bottom that any skier can handle. Whistler is pretty damn expensive but I lucked out having a buddy to stay with. You won't have to worry about not enough snow either, I remember skiing through powder around tree tops on some trails.

I've looked into these places, if anyone has any input for dining or bars (looking at you $OC$)
Red Rock Brewing Grub's Steak Restaurant Wasatch Brew Pub Red Banjo Pizza Tommy's Pizza Joint Hungry Moose Rustic Creek Broken Thumb Mother Urban's Ratskeller Prime Steakhouse and Piano Bar Chimayo
Also, what do people wear out there. My chick and I want to have a fancy dinner one night. I was going to wear a suit, should she wear a dress and some nice heels? I thought it might be too cold or slick or messy for her in her heels.
Thanks -

I'm waiting on some goggles I ordered on ebay, I really hope they get here before christmas. Would be really disappointed if I ordered them for nothing...

Just got back from Winterpark. Very nice, first time on West Coast. Would like to go to Breckenridge, Park City, or Vail though. My mom says those places destroy Winterpark.

Cool, let me know...
Like I said, I've never been there, but we are really excited. The town sounds awesome, just really don't know where I need to go or what I need to see...

Just wanted to thank everybody for their advice and thoughts. Heading out soon, so if there are any last minute tips or advice let me know. Looking forward to it and I'm kind of nervous, but we'll be okay.
Thanks

30 inches of fresh powder in the last few days in Park City. Was at Snowbird yesterday. Epic. Waist deep powder.
No suit. Slacks and a sweater will be fine for the nicest of PC restaurants during that time. Everything else is jeans and a Utes hoodie
Red Rock Brewing -- Good brew pub. Pulled pork and pale ale's Grub's Steak Restaurant -- havent been Wasatch Brew Pub -- top of main street. good local brews Red Banjo Pizza -- best spot for a slice and a pitcher. Tommy's Pizza Joint -- never been Hungry Moose -- skip it Rustic Creek -- good sports bar. at the raddison hotel Broken Thumb -- great wings but its over by the tennis club. (several miles) Mother Urban's Ratskeller -- i think its closed Prime Steakhouse and Piano Bar -- Nice, expensive. sit by piano bar. Chimayo -- really good mexican. but spendy for mexican.
I am sure you have tons of good options to eat. There is a new Ruth's Chris which is always good.
Bars are Cisero's, Harry O's, No Name, O'Shucks and Sidecar

Riverhorse was a great call got the wildgame trio of Buffalo, Elk, and Venison. First time having any of these and they were all amazing. Harry O's on new years was the place to be but was nothing special. O' Shucks and sidecar are funny bars. Lot of cougars at ciseros and the spur. Overall though it was a great time....

It was a great time. We ate at Red Banjo on Monday night. Tuesday we skied all day, ate at the Corner Store at PC mountain in the late afternoon, then sat in the hot-tub some of the night. Hit the hotel bar later for some beers that night. Wednesday we went skiing again, followed by the Wasatch Brew Pub for dinner, then went to the Sidecar for the New Year's Celebration. Thursday we slept-in and went to the pool, hot-tub, and sauna til about noon then went exploring The Canyons. That night we ate at Prime Steakhouse. Great atmosphere, very expensive, but very good. Friday we skied our last time most of the day, and hit the Legacy Bar for apres' ski, went home to clean-up then went to the No Name Saloon for dinner and beers. Not to mention watched the Utes kick some ass. Saturday we spent walking Main St. getting some t-shirts and hoodies and what not...oh we ate at the Back Door Delicatessen, good sandwiches.
We will be going back. We only got to explore PC Mountain, next time we will be hitting up Deer Valley. I also want to eat at Cisero's, Chimayo, El Chubasco, Riverhorse, and we'll probably sign up for the Viking Yurt. It went so fast, but was really needed and really fun.
Thanks for all the help and suggestions. My chick wanted to see a moose, but we didn't see one. I told her we could always come back in the summer to bike or hike. I could also get some good golf in.
Thanks again,
