Ryan is just down the street from my house speaking tonight. It is a smaller town and the whole police force is working. They have neighboring cops blocking the freeway on ramps so he can get back to the airport and the whole thing is fucking up traffic. There are about 4,ooo people there but there are semis and tv crews galore.
I am watching TV and three commercials in a row are on the election.

My point is this- WHO THE FUCK CAN BE UNDECIDED TODAY? IS THERE SOME DUMB ASS SITTING THERE DRINKING A BEER AND WAITING TO DECIDE WHO HE WILL VOTE FOR BASED ON A TV COMMERCIAL?
Seems like a colossal waste of resources. From a money point of view and a green point of view.
    Who pays for this shit?
Could that money not be better spent?

I used to be a caring, concerned citizen who put a lot of thought into my votes.

Our society has turned so stupid that I'm not even going to bother this year.  I honestly don't give a rat's ass who wins any seat.

C'mon man, the "shady shit" is exactly WHY the line is where it is.
Absolutely the only reason. Who in their right mind would re-elect this fool?

I'm right there with Cups and MichaelPaul.

There are so many sheep in this country it's ridiculous.  And I don't care who wins either.  There's nothing I can do.  Voting for Ron Paul won't help.  And please don't give me that psycho babble bullshit about how I need to vote because if everyone said what I'm saying... my vote won't make a difference period.  Ron Paul can't win.

Why in the Hell do we have two valid candidates and not 4,5, or 6?  Put a limit as to how much a person can spend on a campaign so that ANYONE can run a campaign and nobody has an advantage.  We need to lose this Dem/Rep two party bullshit.

It's not freedom to have two choices.

Obama is going to win the election, or so it seems.  I guess I'd rather have him.  Romney would be horrible.  We would be literally be fucked sideways.

We are already fucked sideways. After Tuesday they will need to find a new orifice to violate, all the others have been used up.

    They all suck.

Romney is running ads in my neck of the woods saying, "aren't you tired of paying $4/gallon for gas?"  Paid $3.19 yesterday.

Romney promising 12 million good paying jobs in a first term is a promise that cannot be kept. Saying you want people off the public tit and offering false promises to do that is a red flag to the dumbest among us. Anyone (that includes the millions affected by this recession through no fault of their own) who doesn't push back to that nonsense really clueless.

I couldn't agree more. This two controlling party system is rediculous. What's even worse is the people who vote squarely on the party and not the person.

I have to agree with so many of these post.
I am totally disillusioned with the American political system.
I feel my vote does not count worth a shit.
I am neither a Dem or a Rep but sure as hell cannot find someone I agree with.
We need more political parties that better mirror the country.
The power in America is not WAY TO CONCENTRATED.
Politicians should not hold office, I know this sounds crazy but the country was meant to be run by the local plumber/police man that would act by his own intelligence for the good of everybody. We have groups and action committees that are running terrible agendas. Why not make decisions for the common good?
I could go on for days.
I cannot believe Obama is -365? WTF? Not saying he does not win or does not deserve to (that is a whole different thread) but is this thing not a lot closer than -365? I just looked, the Ravens at home vs the Raiders this week are -350? Obama is more of a lock than the Ravens against this Raider squad? If that is the case, is this even news?

To this I would say, vote with me, I vote against every incumbent regardless of party. I vote change. Every time.
