Thinking about smoking pot for the first time since college....

Im fucking 40 years old.

I want to smoke pot.  I havent smoked since college.

I need advice on how to make this happen.

Great idea I think I will do the same.  It's been hours for me...

I'm not an extremely social person but somehow no matter where I am I can meet people that have weed, or know where to buy it, or are willing to smoke.  Find someone with weed, and smoke it!  What do you want to know?

I'm most likely going to start again Van. I've already had it suggested by two of my doc's as you might have seen in my sleep problem thread. The closest people I know to where I live in Sarasota live in the fricking Keys....

I'm 45 and probably have smoked a few times since college myself, and only a few hits each time.

Are being serious? Just curious.....

Im pretty sure I am having a midlife crisis.  But I dont give a fuck.  I like hummus, dragonberry bacardi - and I want a doobie so fucking kill me.

I googled marijuana brownies once. Lots of great recipes. People have that shit down to a science.....

I am actually being serious.

I drink every friday night, and that night is tonight (surprise), but I hate drinking.  I like smoking though, and want to try it again.

Van, one of the Docs of mine that suggested it to me is married to a currently active sitting judge in Tampa. Said he wished he could get it for me. Too funny.

I could find 10 bookies in about an hour - but I dont think I could score weed in a week.

idk where you are, but if you go to venice beach and go into a headshop and say"I need a doctor" someone will give you a card with a doctors address and phone number. you call, make an appointment and he will see you. it cost a couple hundred bucks and he will give you a prescription. take it to the pot shop and get your blaze on.

I mean do you have a way to get weed but no way to smoke it or the opposite?  I was brainstorming ideas of where I would look to find some bud if I were you, but I guess it wouldn't be so easy if I were 40 and living away from a college campus

But you don't want to be me... I have a lot of free time to enjoy myself but I feel like I am trapped in such a slow pace of life right now just waiting to get the fuck out of school so I can get a job.  Depending on the shape of my bankroll I am either cutting my food budget back or living like I actually can afford it, either way I'm always stressed and depressed.  Smoking is my way of self-medicating I guess.

You could always look for someone with a fun prescription to abuse

Check with the person that cuts your hair.  Seems to be a lot of tokers in that line of work.

I'm with you there, I hate drinking.  I go to a bar thinking what the hell... I'll buy some dollar beers and watch the game with some friends.  Next thing you know its 3 AM and I spent $80 even though I don't like drinking, way more shitfaced than I planned on, feel like shit getting up for classes the next morning (on a bad day chances are I planned on typing a paper for class but got too drunk).  Fuck drinking...

Order a pizza.  Ask your delivery driver.  I would say that 90-110% of pizza delivery guys are high at work.
