Cy youngs complete games record is untouchable since they don&#x27;t really allow the pitchers to throw that many pitches in a game anymore.

Joe dimaggio&#x27;s 56 game hitting sterak. Back in the day you could face the same pitcher at least 4 times in 1 game. nowadays they change pitchers more often. Rose came close. if Pete Rose could&#x27;nt break it, then i think nobody can

Johnny Vander Meer pitched 2 consecutive no hitters in a row, in order to break the record you would have to pitch 3 consecutive no hitters in a row.Unbreakable.

yep and you can face 3 or more different pitchers and all of them will have at least a 90 mph fastball with other good pitches to throw a batter off.Pitchers are no joke these days, i guess that&#x27;s why they get paid a ton even relievers. The 56 game hitting streak has got to be the toughest to break.

A horse is a horse of course and you have as much of a chance of hearing a talking horse as you do of ever seeing a performance to match that Belmont run.Take into consideration their age, that distance etc etc.

Most Consecutive no-hitters .  Johnny Vander Meer through back to back no hitters in the thirties, a pitcher would have to throw three to break it....will never happen.

Most of the old baseball records are unbreakable due to the changing of the game. So honestly they shouldn't be in the discussion.

Nobody will ever beat the length of the Mahut/ Isner Wimbledon match. 183 games played and a match time of 8 hours and 11 minutes.

Most of the records you guys are speaking of nobody cares or knows who the people are.  Mention DiMaggio&#x27;s 56 game hit streak and everyone knows.  It&#x27;s the coolest record in sports and one nobody will ever come close to breaking.

Notice a theme here? Baseball records and their numbers are the one's with the most meaning and history. Not a single mention of a football record. The cliche saying suggests "records are meant to be broken."

I just don't see someone score 100 points in a game. Wilt's record will forever stand.
