World health organization calls anti-vaccine movement one of the top threats to global health. In common, anti-vaxers and anti-maskers use century old arguments. First, minimize threat of a disease. Secondly, claim vaccine or mask causes illnesses or is ineffective. Third, declare vaccination or mask-wearing is part of a larger conspiracy. Fourth, use alternative or pseudoscience authority to legitimize weak arguments.
So far, early rollout of vaccination has been a fiasco. By end of year, almost 2 million Americans received vaccines. Far short of 20 million promised by Trump administration. At current pace, herd immunity won't be reached until after 10 years according to George Washington university estimate. Problem is that public health infrastructure is inadequate and fragmented. Risky to rely on underfunded states to administer vaccines. Only federal government has the resources to handle a national problem. But Trump administration refuses to accept responsibility.

Make sure to wear those masks, those who got the shot. No really, you’re “vaccinated” and all, buuuuut, just in case you know, make sure to wear that mask.
Unfortunately us vaccinated will continue to wear masks Indoors until the rest if you catch up ...I'd feel horrible if I passed on the virus to someone who wasn't vaccinated and they died
so basically the vaccine lessens the symptoms , doesn’t prevent getting it or transmitting it. The fuck is the point of the vaccine ?

Fourth, virus mutates so fast that a vaccine could never work. No evidence that mutations negate vaccine benefits entirely.
Fifth, another myth is that mRNA vaccines change human DNA. Don't expect people to turn into monkeys after vaccination.
