Oh and let's not forget that the federal gov't collects 20 cents per gallon of fuel dispensed in this country and the states take another 30 cents. Yes, 50 cents of every gallon of fuel you buy is a tax. Of course they don't want to kill the cash cow which is petroleum. At least not yet.

The specific terms of this agreement have the U.S sending billions of dollars a year to China, India, which are 2 of the biggest air polluters in the world..and China and India don't have to lower their emission rates. How would that solve climate change in the U.S.? Its a bad deal, it just doesn't make any sense.

Politicians need to be voted out b/c they are good for only themselves. I see no reason why the things they vote on can't be voted on by the People with the same results weekly/monthly. One Representative from each State and this person works a 40 hour week with 1 week Vacation not 3 months.
