Ok, this has probably been done here, but I didn't see it...I watch lots of baseball, and many of you do too.....so, I would like to hear who are your favourite TV broadcasting teams...and least favourites....(let's exclude Mr. Vin Scully, since he in a class of his own)....
1. Baltimore Gary Thorne, Jim Palmer...great voice, and Jim Palmer
2. Toronto Buck Martinez, Pat Tabler..clear, honest, humour and pleasant to listen to
3. San Diego Dick Enberg..smooth pipes of Dick Enberg
....Least Favourite...
1. Chicago White Sox Ken Harrelson, Steve Stone...nauseating homers

Yes ok....if I were mentioning retired men, I would include Curt Gowdy and Jim Simpson.....their voices were made for sports...but I was interested in current play by play....I am a professional sports better, and watch bits of almost every game...so, I hear them all....I was interested in other peoples thoughts...

Paul O'Neill is always a joy to listen to when he does Yankee fans.
I enjoy the Rockies guys but according to the awfulannouncing.com, they're ranked second to last (right in front of Hawk).
I loved Daron Sutton and Mark Grace in Arizona before they were replaced. Now I can't watch their channel because Steve Berthiaume's voice annoys the fu*k out of me.
I feel like the Nationals are homers.
And I'm a fan of the Kruk and Kuip combo in SanFran.
Here's a 2014 rankings from awfulannouncing.com...

And I was only thinking baseball but outside the sport...give me Gus Johnson to call any sport. He calls games for the San Jose Earthquakes in MLS and I'm sure he can even make an MLS game exciting.

Yes, Gus Johnson knows how to call a game for sure....he can make a game sound like his life was depending on it!

Gus Johnson would make a fishing competition exciting.
My favorite from Gus was when he was announcing the UCLA/Gonzaga basketball game back in '06 (the game when Adam Morrison was sitting on the floor crying before the game was over).
