Virginia reporter and cameraman shot and killed during live broadcast

A manhunt is under way after a gunman killed two members of a news crew and injured a third person in Moneta, Virginia, in a shooting that took place during a live TV broadcast on Wednesday morning.

We're entering this weird age now, with youtube, facebook, twitter, etc. - the age of the "Attention Wh0re" where if Kim Kardashian or some idiot kicked off of Survivor can become a "celebrity" without any talent or any intelligence whatsoever, then gosh darn it, why can't I. I think we're just witnessing the beginning of the "film your murders and post it on Instagram" fad......
Apparently this moron had to fold his "race card" that he tried to play, and he also left some sort of 30 page rambling "Manifesto" that I'm sure will be all over the news for weeks to come. 

Those poor people,  just out doing a feel good fluff piece for entertainment on a local news program...... I hope this basterd rots in hell.......

Two weeks ago, the Nation of Islam leader...Louis Farrakhan cited the Koran and urged blacks to rise up and murder whites.

Terroristic threats and no condemnation from the Uniter-in-Chief in the White House..probably encouraged people like the shooter of TV reporter and her cameraman ....

Then he shot himself...  what a coward.    This is one where I wish they took him alive and left him in a room with the families of the victims.

Was this a hoax? There is a video going around supposedly from the killer himself. The gunman's hand is white????????? WTF.

I'm sure the lawyers, doctors, court personnel & incarceration industry are all bummed when one of these animals kills himself due to all the lost revenue analyzing, shuffling, defending, appeals, and housing him. Huge loss for them, big gain for us... It makes my day when a coward kills himself, I just wish he'd do it BEFORE killing people that had nothing to do with his failure of a life.

I was discussing this with the guy that owns the business next to mine. He said its like him offering bad advice on an investment and coming next door and offing one of my employees. wtf? If this loser felt wronged by that station, why not go after the people that were involved in firing him? Its like burning my hometown to the ground because the cops "may" have done something to cause Freddie the convicted heroin dealers death. Senseless.

This video contains actual footage of the shooting that wasn't shown on the news. How on earth can someone walk up to someone doing their job and unload on them, a woman nonetheless? The woman reporter had to get hit 3 times before she started running. I really hope there is a hell for people like this coward.

The man waves a gun and the interviewer and interviewee didn't even notice as he was to the side of them?

Also, why is the gunmans hand white?

Its common among black people for their hands to be white. Reporters are always focused on the person they're interviewing, sadly that committed focus cost them a chance at defending themselves or at least making it more difficult to be shot. They were sitting ducks.

Did the killer have a beef with the reporter and/or the cameraman ?

Flanagan was no longer an employee of  WDJB

How did he know where the reporter and the cameraman were going to be ?

Anyone else involved  ?

Greg Sextro, a former WTWC producer, denied Flanagan's claim that he was discriminated against, telling The Daily Beast that the station had been accommodating to Flanagan and colleagues had repeatedly offered to help him with his news writing.

"The fact that he kept his job was because he was an African-American happy man," Sextro told the site. "That’s pretty hard to say no to."

Can anyone find any information on whether Alison Parker made racist comments?  I can't seem to find anything through searches. Maybe one of our resident white apologists can find this out.

Also, why is MSNBC not at the scene reporting on the rioting, burning and looting?  They were there for Ferguson and Baltimore.
