graduated college with a biology minor. wanted to go to medical school but after doing more research, im not really wanting to do it.
in all honesty, i want a well paying job (enough to support a family and live comfortably). I was looking into air traffic controller... but it seems pretty hard to find a job after you take the necessary steps. I dont really care about what I do.. i just really dont want to go to school for longer than 3 years. any thoughts?

If you have the mental horsepower, then bite the bullet and go to medical school.
You are 23.....by the time you are able to cash in on being a doctor, you will be 35+.
While in school, you will have a place to live and food to eat....not to mention you may be able to hook up with a chick that is also going to be a doctor. Multiply your potential income by 2.
Understand that the medical school is in itself a way to make a living....and there is a potentially lucrative light at the end of the tunnel. If it works, you will get to be a respected pillar of the community, and more importantly, you will be able to afford to live in the gated community, not mow the grass there.
Or, you could try and hustle for cash now and spend the next 12 years of your life spending the money you make, and getting next to nowhere.
If you have no idea what you want to do, then choose something ambitious. Might as well get paid in this life. Of course, if you aren't smart enough to hack medical school, then it will be obvious early on....and you will get washed out.

in today's age a bachelor's degree itself doesn't do much for you, if you want to set yourself up financially, you got to specialize and get a masters in something or go to trade school, plumbers and mechanics can earn 3/4x what office managers do or you could marry well or win the powerball
