Obama did, I'll give you that. Backed away from Assadfter threatening him and allowed psychopath to drop chemical weapons on innocent civilians in Syria, enter ISIS.
He sent over a UN inspection team instead. Unreal that man.

In 2009, Rand Paul (Republican candidate for President of the United States) gave a talk at Western Kentucky University in which he accused former vice president person Cheney of having gotten up the Iraq War to rescue his troubled oil services company, Halliburton, which– along with its subsidiaries– was awarded enormous no-bid contracts for work in post-invasion Iraq.
So, just how much did Halliburton make?
Private or publicly listed firms received at least $138 billion of U.S. taxpayer money for government contracts for services that included providing private security, building infrastructure and feeding the troops.
Ten contractors received 52 percent of the funds, according to an analysis by the Financial Times that was published Tuesday.
The number one recipient?
Houston-based energy-focused engineering and construction firm KBR, Inc. (NYSE:KBR), which was spun off from its parent, oilfield services provider Halliburton Co. (NYSE:HAL), in 2007.
The company was given $39.5 billion in Iraq-related contracts over the past decade, with many of the deals given without any bidding from competing firms, such as a $568-million contract renewal in 2010 to provide housing, meals, water and bathroom services to soldiers, a deal that led to a Justice Department lawsuit over alleged kickbacks, as reported by Bloomberg.

1) ISIS will never become a formidable opponent of the US Military in a conventional military sense. Of course, neither were the Vietcong. If ISIS is left unchecked, the ideology will spread, and ISIS will have a presence in every American city. Once entrenched, they will use gorilla terror tactics on the American people directly; they will not openly fight against the US military. Once ISIS (or muslim extremists in any group) establish numbers in the US then it is too late. Ask France, Britain, Denmark and Spain about that.......political views have swung 180 degrees in France regarding immigration and religious freedom...the threat is becoming very real to the West.
2) The "job" in Iraq was to support a democratic Iraqi government that represented the people, and was physically able to keep the thugs (at the present moment ISIS) from terrorizing the populace and ramrodding their form of Muslim extremism down the world's collective throat. When the above objective was met, then the US was to stand down from a leadership capacity, and reduce numbers in the region. The politicians got cold feet when popular public opinion shifted to an anti-war stance. So, we pulled out.

You do understand the level of their lethal proficiency in explosives right? Would you agree or disagree that ISIS would not hesitate to detonate a nuclear warhead of any size on U.S soil if the opportunity presented itself?
Please answer.

The OP asked a question; what causes "an extreme primal anger" in me? I gave my answer, and you jumped in to tell me how unfounded and ludicrous my concerns were....the implication was that my primal "anger" was irrelevant because I was not sophisticated enough to understand what I was mad at.
The arrogance of that assertion........
And yet again, like a broken record, the war for profit argument comes flying out of deep left field; completely ignoring the motivations and goals of ISIS, and even the possibility that ISIS may ever prove to be a problem for the US.
More arrogance... coupled with naivety, and hubris.
You assign your own personal goals and motivations to everyone in the world....money carries an extreme amount of weight in your life and drives your decisions; surely it must drive ISIS, the US government, and anyone associated with either. Follow the money!.....Right?? That is what you would do.
That last fact is sad; because you represent a large contingent of people in the US, and many of them are running our current government. People of that mindset will continue to ignore the reality of the situation, and the situation will advance when it should be stopped.
I guess this would be the latest propaganda: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/while-nobody-was-looking-the-islamic-state-launched-a-new-deadly-offensive/ar-BBky2Hp?ocid=HPCDHP
Of course, it isn't really happening because the media outlet is operating in tandem with the military industrial complex, and all without the knowledge of every democrat in Washington....right? For profit, correct?
That is it. I grow real tired of your mouth mister; words will never settle this disagreement. Have a nice day.
