Not a pickup line, but when your already in a conversation with a girl you can say "Smile, its the second best thing you can do with your lips". Naturally she might ask you what's the best and thats when you move in for a kiss. I know cheesy, but it works 9/10 times.

I always used to make strong eye contact and at the same time try to appear harmless, warm, gentle, and "cool" with my approach.  Then I would say... "Hi.  My name's Scott.  What's yours?"

That has worked several times.  It's pretty easy to open the door, but you really need game to keep it from getting slammed in your face.  I think the biggest mistake you can make is to say something immature.  Going back a few years when I was immature, I can remember that costing me a couple times. 

If you get rejected, figure out a way to tell her the following without actually saying it: "That's fine honey.  I was trying to do you a favor but since you're not smart enough to catch on... see ya." 

I truly believe if you have confidence, you don't need much else.  They'll see that, and it is such a turn on for them.
