WHAT IS THE BEST SPORT TO CAP?

Everyone has a different answer but for me and the sports I bet its...

1) NFL 

2) Soccer 

3) NBA 

Funny thing is I know most about NBA but it seems to have the most BS

The sport which you pay the most attention to. Ignore the noise on games which you don't watch or understand. Better to be an expert on something small than clueless in the big picture.

College Basketball Mid Majors (I watch a lot)

College Football especially non big 5 conferences (I watch a lot)

Hockey NHL and NCAA  (I watch too much)

Jai Alai

All jokes aside, I just quoted this guy because it sums up my top two perfectly. Get awat from the pros and the big conferences, fellas. If you put the work in, small and mid-level conferences can be fishing with dynamite.

Baseball.

Always handicap the small plus money Underdogs.

Getting +110 to +140 you will be profitable and avoid bankroll disasters.

For me college football.

But according to bettingresource, apparently baseball is the best sport to find the most edge if you know what you are doing.

Got a great Jai alai story for you all.

Back in the day my brother, his wife, his two sons, and my Mom & Dad had planned a two week road trip from CT to FL in January.  Going to Orlando for Disney and then onto Miami for the beach.

Well, seven people in a Station Wagon didn't sound so bad but it turned out to be a living hell with the two bratty kids.  Disney was cool, Space Mountain was a blast, but by the time we hit Miami I had enough of this car trip.

Talked my brother into going to Dania Jai alai one evening.  Told him I was playing a 2-3-5 trifecta box, and only that wager, every game.  The fourth game the 2 beats the 1, the 3 beats the 2 and the 4, and the 5 runs the table.  BANG... 5-3-2 trifecta for $525.

Go to the bar, grab a shot and a beer, flip the bartender a $20 (huge tip back then) and back to the hotel we went.

Packed my bags and had my brother take me to the airport.  He was cussing me the whole way because I was bailing and leaving him to drive home in two days.  A one-way air flight ticket home to CT from this mess.  YES... Thank you Gambling Gods.  Had taken only $500 with me and came home with some $600 plus.  Not a bad deal at all.

Well, a 3 feet Nor'easter snowstorm hit the next day and I had two houses (Mom & Dad and my Brother's) to shovel out by hand.  Driveways, sidewalks, I did everything by hand.

My Dad told me my brother was cussing me the entire trip back to CT.  Until they got home and found about seven feet of snow stacked up along side their driveways that I had shoveled BY HAND.

Yes, I had bailed out of a sh!tty car ride home.  But I did the right thing and nobody else had to do a single thing but drag their bags into the houses and relax.

Good Times!!! 

For me, the best sport is football.

My opinion is soccer (football), I think it more flexible to bet and has so many leagues either in USA or UK. 

If you can lockdown small league and keep track of a few team who you are confident with, lots of money could be made, its one of most consistent sports imo 

Hot dog eating contests

The easiest ML capping is soccer or tennis. It is easy to tell in soccer and tennis who is going to win, its hard to bet so you get maximum value. No one wants to lay -200 or more on an obvious winner, but pair it up with an Over/Under on Goals  you can get better odds.

Easiest ATS is the first half of College Football early season games. 

Easiest totals this year has been baseball. God, so many overs, and some hitting in the first couple of innings.

Soccer ML parlays on weekends when league are in action can hit so hard... in general the totals in soccer I feel are the easiest totals to play, its the only sport that often the books get wrong with the totals, easy to spot a way over or a low scoring game as well

Baseball 1st 5 inn     and   College  Football

1Q spreads bets in basketball might be interesting, been researching and theres lots of trends that back it up and money to be made

Overall, NBA is kinda finding a couple of teams that will do good ATS. Does anyone have any good NBA models?

the best sports to cap are sports where most of the gms play weekly and hv a spread..that is college football and nfl..

then u can apply your skills to wnba..ncaab and nba and wager a bit more often.
