What is the most degenerate bet you've made?

Not necessarily a sports bet....  I&#x27;ve bet with friends on Little League World Series, video games (Madden mostly), who had the bigger bar tab (loser paid the winners tab), what shirt a mutual buddy would be wearing (he was fat guy who only wore jerseys or tie-dye), over/under on how long a Costanza-like friend would last at his new job.... Anyone ever ashamed of betting on something?  Ever put a friends name in a death pool?

Forgot about a good one just recently....  my friend is getting divorced, met a chick on Instagram he started banging.... my other friend and I bet what month he would get her pregnant (I lost)

A good friend/coworker met a girl from Chicago who worked for one of our vendors. This guy was an alcoholic and huge poon hound, would literally tap anything with a hole. 200-300 pounders were not out of the question. After a few weeks she came out to visit him for 3 separate weekends and immediately decided to move here and moved in together.

I put a big pool together on when it would end. 12 years later they got married and I was in his wedding.

A dime on the Michigan football team ML at home against my MN Gophers. Line was something like -300. MI dropped about 7 passes and then gave up a huge run to Gary Russell and MN kicked a FG to win at the end.

It was the first time since 1986 that MN won the Little Brown Jug. And Gary Russell ran for 128 yards on the day.....nearly half the yards were on one rush with about 2 minutes left in the game which set up the game winning FG.

All the history of MN football crapping the bed at crunch time and then this happens.

I did bet a friend $20 as to which zamboni would leave the ice first when we went to a MN Wild game.  Degenerate bet?  For sure.  But it wasn&#x27;t for a lot of money so I don&#x27;t know if it really counts.

I was living in LasVegas in the 80&#x27;s.It was nfl season and the Dolphins with Marino were setting TD records and Dan Marino was throwing on every down and winning by basketball scores.The HoustonOilers were awful with no defense and their only threat was a gimpy Earl Campell. Houston@Miami and the line was -18,the biggest spread that I had seen.Didn&#x27;t pay the game any mind all week but I was downtown on Sunday morning and at the Golden Nugget there was a moneyline of -1300 and I was going to wait on a late game. That monyline was laying $1300 to win $100 so I took most of my roll and laid $5200 to win $400.Miami won and I think they covered -18 but it was close if I remember.

It&#x27;s a close tie between wagering on the Next Pope and some Taiwanese Women&#x27;s basketball game at 3AM...both were available via 5D.FWIW, on both occasions I had open parlays that were just dying for action; and there was a thread created over a "hot tip" on the women&#x27;s bkb game (which did cover).

The day before and after the MLB All Star game are the only days of the year where there is not a game from one of the 4 big major sports (MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL) playing (an no big college sports either). I was in Vegas last year for both of those days and found myself betting WAAAAYYYYY too much on the WNBA. Something I never bet on. Needless to say, overall over those two days I lost.

Went all in on Andy Schleck to beat Alberto Contador in some random stage of the Tour de France a couple of years ago. Contador&#x27;s chain popped off, and instead of mashing the gas, Schleck waited for Contador to catch up. Schleck crossed the line first however.

I was working in Vegas, I&#x27;m an Oriole fan and a co-worker was a Cleveland fan. &#xD;&#xA;So we made a bet, opening day to closing day of the season, $1 a win, 25 cents a homer, one cent for each run scored, $1 for the first team to win in extra innings. &#xD;&#xA;The first year we came within $2 of each other.&#xD;&#xA;The second year we did it was the year the Orioles started 0-23 or whatever it was and I paid his entry fee for one of the $50 for the season football contests.
