What's been the three most memorable sports events you've witnessed live or over television/radio?

This will surely create some memories or lively debate....mine are 

1) Pete Rose breaking Ty Cobb's all time record for hits. What manager would not want a player that hit almost .300 lifetime from BOTH sides of the plate, played FIVE different positions and scored 100 runs plus every year?

2) Len Barkers perfect game against the Toronto Blue Jays, May 15 1981. This game carries an interesting side note due to the fact the Indians catcher Ron Hassey to the best of my knowledge is the ONLY catcher to catch "two" perfect games, this one and one from Dennis Eckersley while with the Oakland A's

3) Tiger Woods at the 1997 Masters...This has really been something to admire. Winning by being -18 under and yet 12 strokes ahead of everyone else...that is total domination in itself. 

 On TV........The "Miracle on Ice" 1980 USA hockey game vs. Russia.........& the 1986 Masters final round when Jack Nicklaus came from behind to win.

 Live......Games 3, 4, & 5 of the 1995 divisional playoff between Seattle & the NYY...........Bo Jackson going off on the Seahawks on MNF.

Can think of a few and most had a bet or two involved

Giants SB win against NE in 2008. Had Giants extra heavy on the spread and a play on the ML too and seeing the end of that 4th quarter  

France's dramatic late comeback against England at Euro 2004. Not exactly a classic game but I was working as a bartender in a packed Dublin pub where everyone was hoping England would lose ( also having a England HT /France FT prop bet at 28/1 back when I was just starting to get into betting) and seeing the last 2 minutes of this game has to be one of my highlights 

not a major golf fan but Shane Lowry winning The Open in 2019 (just wish I had something on him winning the tournament on one of his favourite type of courses at 70/1) 

also YE Yang winning the 2009 USPGA when Tiger Woods capitulated on the final day

NLCS GM 6 1986 Mets/Astros. Mets up 3 games to 2 and down 3-0 in T9TH Knepper throwing beebees at Mets All day. if Mets Lose they face Unhitable former Met Mike Scott in gm 7 in Houston.. Dykstra leads off with a triple in T9 and so on... Mets tie it. Mets go up 4-3 in 10th then Hatcher hits the tying HR B10. Mets go up 7-4 T16 then Houston scores 2 in B16 and Orosco closes it out

Mitchell scores from 3rd to tie it up. Then the Mookie grounder along first... GETS BY BUCKNER.. HERE COMES KNIGHT AND THE METS WIN IT.

Personally witnessed Dale Earnhardt die at the Daytona 500.  1st responders tried to partition the car from onlookers, but I saw his limp, lifeless body, transferred to the ambulance.  

1985, I'm 10 years old and my parents had Iowa season tickets. Saw #2 Michigan come into Iowa City to play #1 Iowa at Kinnick Stadium. Haughlin kicks a last second FG to win it for the Hawkeyes. About 90 minutes later, we walk into The Ground Round for dinner and Hayden Fry, the Iowa head coach, was eating dinner with his wife. About 10 minutes later, Bo Schembechler shows up with a couple of assistant coaches. They walk right past Hayden's table, both coaches nod to each other, and Bo is seated in another part of the restaurant. I begged my father to let me go get autographs from both coaches. He wouldn't let me - said both men were at the end of a very long day and should be left alone.

Watching closely with a major buzz , Toronto on the road taking control , they were up , till Kobe exploded totaling 81

how do I know ? Had the over , started slow , momentum cold , haters pumped

till number 8 had one of the greatest days the NBA ever gave to us

2009 NFC Championship Game, Saints vs. Vikings. I’m only a few feet from the field and Vikings are within FG range to win late in the 4th. Entire Saints crowd around me were down, even Whistleman was depressed.

I knew Farve was known for bonehead plays in big Playoff moments. I screamed out during timeout, “C’MON NEW ORLEANS!!!! YOU’RE THE LAND OF VOODOO!!! LET’S DO THIS!!!” And I put both hands out and started wiggling my fingers. Next thing I know, the entire section, which was directly in front of Farve and the play on the field, starts doing the same voodoo finger wiggle.

Timeout is over. Farve has an easy run for a first down to run down the clock for a game-winning FG. He decides to force in a pass instead and it’s picked off by the Saints.

The crowd goes wild and half the seating section mugs me with hugs. The Coors beer man in the crowd got destroyed in the aisle. LMAO!

The rest is history.

Watched that game live on TV as a Michigan fan. Was one of the best games I’ve ever seen, regardless of the ending.

That was an epic World Series!

Not fan of anything but I've been watching different sports lately most especially when it comes to football. I am betting with different teams since I am new with all of this but hopefully, you can point me to a right team and sports to watch and support so I can start being consistent. Thanks

I've seen it all.  If I wasn't there then I watched it on TV.  99 times out of 100 I had a wager riding.

NOT BRAGGING.  It's just simply that I'm older than dirt. 

BILLS miracle comeback vs the OILERS 

Might have left at halftime but we went by charted bus ...

I'll never leave a sporting event early after witnessing that nearly impossible comeback...
