CreamCaramel, you're right and for jumping to that conclusion I do apologize. For the past few days all the outcry I've seen in the media or online, and generally any comments with a tone such a yours had, has been from a "liberal" type...that was my mistake.
But in keeping with the issue I still don't believe Trump's election had anything to do racism, sexism, bigotry, or any kind of general hatred. It's about how these people have been treated. For years they have been mocked, belittled, and generally treated with sheer contempt by people who feel they are morally superior (aka usually the liberal elite types). Even in your response to me, the comments you make about "manipulating angry people out in the sticks" continues to play into this.
If you can remove the "M.exican r.apist", "build a wall", "ban all M.uslims", and "grab them by the p.ussy" comments from your mind, that have repeatedly been played on blast like a broken record from the mainstream media in an attempt to demonize the man, I think you would find that he won the election because he actually talked about the issues that were important to people and resonated with them instead of the usual morally high-horsed agenda that gets pushed by the media, and celebrity/elite types.
I think one of the most sensible comments I've heard actually came from Ann Coulter of all people (and I usually thin she's a clown), but she said "none of these people want to take him seriously, but they want to take him literally."
