#1 Bill Walton-He is so damn annoying and goofy looking...The worst part is that he thinks he is so much smarter than everybody on the planet.
#2 Boomer Esiason-How the hell did he get the MNF gig? He ruined the best night in football for far too long!
#3 Dick Vitale-I don't really think I need to elaborate on him.
#4 John Madden-I can't stand one word that comes out of his mouth!
#5-Tony Kornheiser- More like Korneyheiser! He is such a douche!

Also was driving home tonight from a movie - was listening to the Colts/Jags game - they had Dennis Green on the radio for ESPN doing commentary. ARGH - he sucks - sounds like hes an owl with a 2 pack a day of Newports.

vitale. not that he's the worst, but he's the one i have to suffer with the most, with his cheerleading for whichever side is winning and his inability to concentrate on the game he's actually calling. he's gotten a bit better about that through the years, but he still goes off on a remarkable number of tangents. every player reminds him of some other player who he then has to discuss while the other team's already come back down and scored again. and he exceeds even madden in his hubris about thinking that he, and not the game, are what people are wanting. i'm not saying that color commentators can't be, well, colorful ... but there are limits, and vitale is nails on a chalkboard to me.
let me also give a special shout to bob harris, the voice of the blue devils, doing the duke network radio for basketball and football for something like 30 years now. caveat 1 is that i'm a confirmed duke-hater, and caveat 2 is that i realize that guys who do college coverage are, and should be, fans of their teams. harris just takes it to a different level of letting it effect the way he calls the game (which is actually kind of endearingly funny, unlike a vitale or packer). long-time nc folks will know what i mean ... in his world, duke players never foul ... other teams foul, but duke players just have fouls called on them. wish i had a dollar for every time i've heard some variant like "singler drives low left, puts up a running one-hander, he's mugged by ellington, he'll shoot two... but they don't call it! rebound thompson, back the other way ..." it's sort of like the sports equivalent of political spin, but it can be quite entertaining to listen to while you're actually watching the game with the tv sound down. especially if vitale's in cameron.

i agree with you guys who've distinguished between the kornheiser on pti and the kornheiser on mnf. i'll catch at least part of pti 3 or 4 times a week, am generally enterained by their repartee, and usually feel i've learned a little something; with its quick, attention deficit format it's a great show to go with that first beer after work ... but kornheiser on mnf sometimes makes me wonder if dennis miller is still available.

Being a former BYU dickface and practically bed-buddies with Lavell Edwards, he's worse than ever now. This is becuase the mtn is a mormon owned company out of Salt Lake City. If you guys thought he was bad before, you should hear him now. He has free reign to say whatever his little pee brain comes up with. Example, if he's doing a BYU game, he'll continually and blatantly belittle the other team in a nastly way, nothing subtle about it, even if BYU is getting their butts kicked.
