I love how prayer always has amnesia. Nobody remembers praying for the person to stay healthy when they are praying for them to recover from cancer.

That is just silly.  God has been punishing Louisian for enacting a ban on gay mariage.  Everyobody knows that.  God loves gay people, and She hates bigots. The evidence is obvious.  Louisiana enacts a ban on gay marriage in 2004 and God drops the Katrina bomb on Louisiana in 2005.  The law isn&#x27;t retracted and look what happened in 2010.  This is common knowledge; those people in Louisiana better get a clue.

Prayer if used correctly is a form of meditation. A peaceful time between just you and God. Whatever you feel God is that is your time to be close with him and let go of everything else. The problem with prayer is people do it wrong. Praying is not just asking God to do things. It is clearing your mind to be open to accepting recieving thoughts or premonitions to help guide you along your way. God helps those who help themselves.

Had to use a little Ben Franklin quote there. Guy was pretty smart. God talks to us all everyday. It just depends if we decide to listen or not. Those little thoughts that pop in your head that maybe you should volunteer or give some charity or spend more time with your wife or your kids. That is God speaking to you. You can ignore it or you can listen. That part is up to you.
