cant bet on santa anita fairgrounds or gulfstream at philly park but  i do like the bullet works put in by the beeder cup champion NOWNOWNOW

No one hotter than Furthest Land in this race, but the improving # 6 SPURRIER and old man #2 BOLD CHIEFTAIN look ready for run. #1 Cherkoee Artist appeared to need his last in the G2 San Gabriel, but I think he will be ready.

I've always been a big fan of #3 NOWNOWNOW, and his work coming into this is excellent. I am concerned about the layoff only because off of last few layoffs he appears to need his first race back.

#5 NEKO BAY, another warrior, should be in the mix with Mikey Smith aboard.

KING...good luck.....let's hope that the 7 goes off at 2-1 (I doubt it--probably 6-5 or so) and we get some value underneath.

Who wants the lead in this race?  Alot of people looking to close, but who's going to put up and honest pace?  I'll play Bold Chieftain.  Hoping Baze puts him up there and lulls them to sleep.

I think Spurrier and Cherokee Artist go out first with  Bold Chieftan a length off the pace.If the pace is a bit slow, which might just happen, either one of the first two can steal it.

PS.....AND your pick, Danno, could just do it off the pace, of course. Problem is that someone is going to have to holde off Furthest Land who has a graet late kick from behind or off the pace.

I didn't win because I keyed the 7 all the way around. I should have went with my gut and backed up my bet with a nice place and show bet on Spurrier, who paid $14 to place and $6.
