My buddy is a stats geek and some kind of software dude. Short story is - he dumped every horse race that's ever been raced into a database and I'm a novice horse better so I'm not even sure where to start.
You can analyze things like Dirt vs. Turf, Avg Speed vs. odds, jockey influence, trainer influence, horse age influence, # races raced in career, # races raced recently, etc, etc - way more than I know anything about.
If anyone is a true geek on this stuff - would love to connect. Happy to share whatever intel I gather....just looking for some direction from an expert as to what to look for.
If you had every piece of detail from every horse race ever raced all in one place....what would you analyze? If that question gets your juices flowing....You're who I'm looking for.
I have 4 bachelor parties scheduled for next summer - and we're going to Horse Racing tracks for 3 of them. I want to be the winner!
