Just finished capping Saratoga, Monmouth & Gulfstream. Wouldn't be surprised if they are off the turf tomorrow @GP. Here are a couple of quick thoughts.
Monmouth Post is noon with a 14 race card.
Trainer Skip Einhorn has two maidens who have been away. Race 4 #7 Travelin Song & in Race 8 #6 Onethingoranother. Both are 12-1. I think his best shot is in the 8th race with this filly having 2 bullet workouts over the track but has been away 6 months. She has also ran 2nd twice @ Monmouth. Love that he attracts Gallardo to ride.
In the 9th, Chad Brown has 3 of the 8 entered which just doesn't see right. With Bravo, Paco & Gallardo onboard he may hit the tri.
In the 10th one of my favorite colts is racing in #1 Global Campaign. Something went wrong in his last race when he broke outside from the 2 hole & ran 6th as the favorite. Not real excited with the jock change to Jorge Vargas Jr & a little concerned trainer Hough couldn't get a better jock to ride this guy. So I'll take a look see tomorrow.
Race 11 I like #1 Arklow ML 5/2. Love that Money Mikey Smith hops on to ride.
Race 12 will be a fun race and it's Christmas in July for jockey Joe Bravo as he picks up the mount on #1 Dr. Post because Irad can't leave Saratoga to ride this colt. If Irad leaves the SPA, he can't come back due the virus rules. Baffert's #2 Authentic just arrived in town this week along with Mike Smith & he's the 4-5 chalk. #7 Ny Traffic lost his last by a length to Maxfield & ran 2nd to Wells Bayou. I expect him run big tomorrow.
The last 2 races are both stake races but I have to take a close look tomorrow.

Gulfstream will be a mess tomorrow. We have major storms hitting us now.
I like R.D. Allen riding for trainer Maria Bowersock. Since Tampa closed, these 2 have been exclusive as they say. They hook up in the DD with # 6 & 8 & I'll make $2 double play with the 8-1 shot & 12-1 shot.
Jockey Samy Camacho is warming up & getting better mounts. He's has 6 winner in the last 5 days.
I liked Big Tina but she'll probably scratch when the race comes off the grass.
In race 8 we have a Maragh family affair with #7 Harper Go Lucky with the jock/trainer/owner but I like #9 Disturbin Bourbon who woke up in his last. The family has another in Race 9 in #6 Bolt.
In Race 11 I would love to see #3 Harvey Wallbanger show up with 53 year old jockey Edgar Prado hand riding him to the wire. Harvey has a history of running good, then a stinker, then a good one. If he follows that pattern that would be great. I think #5 Noble Drama will be the one to beat.
In the finale, my girl Georgina Baxter has a 10 year old gelding in #4 I'm Cardinal who has won 18 of 64 in his career. He's 4 for 4 ITM this year. I'll be playing this one in various ways.

Race 5 #9 Angry Man is the ML favorite @2-1. I think this colt might be named after the trainer because Dermot Magner is 1 for 51 on the turf. Rosario picks up the mount from Luis Saez who has covid & maybe he can put a smile on the trainers face.
In Race 6 we have another freaky stat like Dayoutoftheoffice. #3 Nautilus goes from dirt to turf which is great for us. Why you say? Because trainer Brad Cox is almost perfect going 5 for 6 with his dirt to turf move with male maiden special weight on the grass going longer.
In the 10th I have another favorite filly in #1 Tonalist's Shape. The only filly to ever beat her is Swiss Skydiver.
That's all I have for now.

Quickies for Saratoga...

As expected, Gulfstream is off the turf & sloppy. The track lost power about 90 minutes ago, so I expect more scratches will be announced. No major scratches @ Monmouth or Saratoga with good weather at both.
Still have about 45 minutes before the party starts @ Toga.

We have a couple of 1st time starters with Pletcher's getting money on #3. Winstar paid 400k for #5 who didn't run a lick in his first try. Small double wager.
DD 5 with 1-4-7

WOW...#1 Global Campaign got passed by Mike Smith on #9 but fought back with a lot of heart to win by about 2 lenghts! Boy Jorge Vargas rode a great race & I was concerned with him.
Win $7.00
Exacta 1-5 paid $54.60
Trifecta 1-5-9 paid $156.80
Superfecta 1-5-9-2 paid $580.40 (I didn't have that; I rarely play supers)
Alive in the DD with #1
Needed that win for my kitty and psyche!!
