At Gulfstream, jockey Samy Camacho has been chillier that usual until today when he brought in a 8-1 shot & a 16-1 winner. I don't know if he's headed back to Tampa Bay when it reopens on the 30th but I think he has a couple of live mounts on Saturday's card.
Also my gal, trainer Georgina Baxter has 3 going Saturday @ GP.
There's a race I like @ Big Sandy with the Ortiz brothers coupled with a 20-1 shot.
I'll be capping these cards tomorrow & hopefully this forum will perk up with the good racing this weekend.

GP R1 #11 Markistan to the 10k maiden claiming level by trainer Saffie Joseph. She's been knocking on the door with a 5-0-3-2 record this year. Owner Frank Calabrese is all about getting the money and isn't concerned about losing a cheap claimer. If he really like the filly, he'll reclaim her. Trainer David Fawkes has a firster in # 3 Benny's Girlfriend & I want to see her on the track.
GP R2 5 of the 7 entered are 1st time starters. #4's daddy is Commissioner but other than that the breeding of others is not real impressive. I'd look at the 1st tote flash to see where the early money is bet in this short 5F race.
I'll get away with a modest DD play 11 with all.
Race 3 ...you can't claim a horse cheaper @ GP than this 6250 claimer. #6 Northern has won 13 in his career & this is a live one with Camacho riding for owner/trainer Sweezey. ML is 4-1
Race 4 has first time starters & underachievers. It's a crap shoot IMO. No play for me.
Race 5 weather should be nice tomorrow so there's very little threat of races being taken off the grass. #2 Gran Malbec has won 7 of 17 lifetime but his last win was on 2/28/19. #3 The Queens Jules missed by a neck in his last @8-1. #4 Sturgeon has been dull in his last 3 but takes a big drop in class here. # 5 Black Jet is from my gal's barn trainer Georgina Baxter. This guy has been away since December & his works don't show too much. I'll figure this race out tomorrow.

Dr. John Kimmel trains this guy & I'm a fan of his. He wins at a decent 17% rate. #9 Albie ran a decent 3rd in his last after for 8 months. I think jockey Jose Lezcano is one of the best on the turf & he stays n board here for a small barn & owner that has only raced 13 in his career. The play is an a tri key of 8 with 129. She'a a world beater @ Finger Lakes having won 5 of 10 & running 2nd in 4 other races. She's been away since 9/19 for trainer Chris Engelhart & attract Luis Saez to ride. ML is 12-1. WP #6

It looked Like Luis Saez was going to nurse #11 to the finish line but Irad caught him on the favorite #5. Got the exacta but preferred the #11 winning the race.
