I go to one of the few dog tracks still open in the United States, Wheeling Downs in Wheeling WV. They usually run 20 races Wednesday thru Sunday. They sponsor a adopt a Greyhound program. I been going their for 40 years or more. Never read or heard anything about closing the races down there. People have something to protest no matter what the agenda these days.

I owned and trained Greyhounds at Wonderland Revere and Raynham both in Massachusetts The top dogs ran Wonderland Ma Derby Lane St Pete and Hollywood both in Florida .
They banned Greyhound racing in Massachusetts, Florida ,Rhode Island ,New Hampshire ,Connecticut ,Vermont ,Arkansas , Alabama, Arizona, Iowa and Wisconsin all these states had dog tracks some of them had multiple tracks there all gone.
West Virginia only state still allowing Greyhound Racing Wheeling Downs only track open.
