handicapping the handicappers has some value in parimutual wagering. two things standings in the way . . . .heavy juice, most tracks are at 20% for takeout, with some appraoching 30% on exotics. lastly, late money is a huge obstacle. some international money is now co-mingled at certain tracks. it tends to a be a huge percentage of the handle for a given race, and it's very tough to predict when and where that money is going. at big tracks with large handles, this is less of a problem.

IF THE NUMBER COMES UP 3+ POINTS BETTER THAN THE 2ND HORSE THERE IS HIDDEN MONEY ON THAT HORSE...EX. 5/1 INTO SAY $50 HES A 10....NEXT HORSE 6/1 INTO $90 HES A 15..WELL THE 5/1 SHOT WOULD BE A GOOD PLAY..GIVE IT A TRY.

This is a pretty wild thread-good to see some of the old guys back. Hey, AP, remember Jefferson Downs out on Lake Ponchatrain. It was a bull ring run by the New Orleans "Guys" during the Fairgrounds offseason. When a race was fixed, you could divide the show money into the win money and if it was all out of whack, you knew the boys hadn't even bothered to play the horse third. Happy New Year everyone and whoever gets the system let me know.
