102.11 made $25 on a trade after i they margin called me.

lol i sat there looking at my screen wondering why losses wherent moving, after 1 minute i realized the were realized losses an i didnt have an open position anymore.

Ice you need to make sure on the charts b4 you jump in.........GBP/USD was just off a cross....and EUR/USD just ran out of steam on short term charts......cant get skittish when trading the pairs will move against you time to time but if you plan out your trade well and have studied the chart it will have to move alot to hurt you...
 
WLD got in at 101.85.....his first average shouldve been with 1 lot around 102.10....bringing his avg to 101.96ish [spread].next avg with 2 lots 102.30s[and you cant really set a # the way it was running up i would have gotten upper 30s]bringing him to 102.13ish.....so he now has 4 lots and can set a limit for 10 or less and make more than was the original goal for the trade....and it has reached that level several times....he was +$$$$ at 1:30 am had he averaged correctly he'd been out[and thats b4 2nd avg point]

damn got back from showering seen it got down to 101.97 went to feed baby and up back to 102.10

101.90s.....good things come to those who wait......
 
my AUD/USD trade was almost a mirror image of USD/JPY...called it out at sell .6980 got up to .7050s..b4 i logged out back in the .6990s.....

you just averaged wrong......lesson learned...
 
i set the goal for my trade at 20-30 pips.....so thats your avg point..and if its running against you as quick as it did tonight hold out....thats just more pips youll get by waiting....you couldve been out at 1:30 with +$ if done properly....
 
how many lots did u have by the end?

usd/cad the rsi, DMI+ and - arent bottomed out but their in the lower zones. if they continue would it be a buy??

after i screwed up and sold on accident @ 102.06 i felt like i had to average again for that mistake. then it moved another 25 pips from that average and i sold again.

I might have been alrigh if i hadnt averaged at the end tho. they bought me out @ 102.38. my last 2 averages were 102.36 and the final 1 i think killed me 102.32. if i didnt do that 1 i coulda probably made it through because i think the high was 102.41.

i dont have it open to pull up a chart at the moment....but yes you want them on bottom...may not be a good play though for hrs...better off to take a nap wake up at 9 am see what going on IMO

yes 7 was too many.....if done right you coulda had 4 and made $50+.....i dont know what its at now but i saw it in 101.90s......so if you had avg right you coulda been around 102.15.....set a limit for 12-15 [or more even]pips x 4 lots=

Iceman bailed to early......he sold in 101.90s????? [not sure but it was after you by several mins]so he coulda got away with one avg and made descent profit.......two and made a killing,his second avg wouldve been near the very top and brought him into the low 102.20s....

I was able to claw back some losses I took last night taking  on that pair, I basically set a limit last night, and it hit, so I woke up only down $50 instead of $150.  I took it up the ass with the EUR/USD and GBP/USD last night, geezus did they ever go against me.  I don't know what went wrong there, I guess I enetered too late.  I've got to learn to know when the train has left the station.
 
Like a sports bet, I'll just brush it off and try again tonight.  I hope you didn't lose too much WLD.

you guys just need to learn to be more patient......look at where USD/JPY was at 6:30.....you could have got 20 pips from the original sell point.....be back 2night off to work

Yeah, you are right bucknuts, that USD/JPY saved my ass last night.  It can get nerve wracking though seeing the pair you sold continually rise, and the negative dollars get progressively worse.  The good news was that I sold it when it was higher before I hit the sack last night, so I was able to make $100 back
