glad to hear you made $$$$$....i wish i hadnt sold my first position.it fell past my average by 20+ pips and i had 4 lots......id buy this again if it dips much futher.down 50+ to 97.70s..........its going to be in 98s again.......but im done for the night

all the way down to 50 s again now back in the 70s.....thats like 5 mins....up and down 30 pips each way
 
98 is coming again.but 4 real im done..i be back in the am to start a new thread...WLD where you at 2night?

looking through the charts........couldve bought several pairs around 12-1 am...many were bottom bottom on the 4 hr charts...
I got the day off but dont see much i like at the moment will be back shortly

Bad news was that I made a shitty trade before that, costing me 20 pips

i bought USD/JPY as well,got in at 97.28..sold at 97.50......in 10 mins its moved to 98 again......

kicking myself for not selling USD/CAD in the 1.2690s...got up to 1.2740s just enough to make me average up but look at where it is now 1.2440s.....i wouldnt have stayed for that much gain as i like the sell from the 1hr and 2 hr charts and they are smaller blocks but was easy $$$$$$$$....

I guess WLD must have gave up??????I feel bad that he lost some $$ but just like in gambling you have to have some discipline/$$ management....you cant always go BIG...Hope you are still around WLD and give it another shot,im trying to help  people here and had the trades i posted been played right only one has lost $$$ and that was off the daily/weekly charts so you have to have a large roll to trade it,but i put that out there so...

The practice accounts are free and a great learning tool but you have to use it properly,you cant go trading 10 lots and make 10k on a trade and think its just that easy.Open one up and trade one/two lots do some reading on chart tech indicators,read about   margin @how its calculated/used

Ive spent alot of time finding a little system that works for me,i post what i like and my entry/exit,thats big also map or plan out your trade.You cant just jump into a pair without watching/studying it 1st....You might have some luck jumping in on a big quick move but look at USD/JPY last 12 hrs...its only takes one bad trade to wipe out several good ones

If anybody is reading this and thinking about starting a mini account YOU MUST STICK TO 1 LOT TRADES unless you have more than $600-$700 ....

Yeah, I feel bad for WLD, but he started with $250 and was trading 4 lots.  I've started with a grand, but even I am just sticking to 1 lot until I get the hang of it.

I don't know if it's because I'm more alert, or because the NYSE is open, but I've had far better success during the day than at night.  I made 5 trades today, only 1 went against me.  Very profitable day for me.  Nailed the sell on USD/CAD today after I saw that the price of oil recovered in price a bit.  That's a signal to jump on CAD, regardless of what the chart says.  Oil goes up = CAD goes up.  Just kept checking the News and Commentary bar every once in a while, find them very helpful.  The trade I fucked up on today was I rode the USD/EUR down for a profit, went back up, and figured it would fall again.  Dead wrong, lost about 25 pips on it.  But the others made up for it.

took me out as i put up that last post.when i set limits i change the dollar amount and its adjusts the pips.....i got $350...there 17.5 pips...was good for at least 20 as it touched 04-03 now at 1.2905 it might dip to upper 1.28s but im not greedy....i was typing that long message or i could have sold close to 40

i moved my limit to 20.1 pips $650...will put me at $1000 if i bumped out....
 
this looks pretty good on the 4 hr,had a cross but really hasnt droppd sinced it should give some back here....its at 20 but i will have an itchy trigger finger here once over $300-$400

just took $407 in EUR/GBP.......i might be back later on 2night
 
Congrats on the day Iceman..put up $750 in trades here in posts.plus the other JPY but i left that out since i didnt post it until after the fact....that puts me at around +$1300 posted trades this week

Holy shit bucknuts, I had a nice profit on the USD/JPY pair, and wanted to sell after I got my pips, but I couldn't because it said the rate kept changing!

Geezus, I took a profit, but a bit less.
