Nice job on the reversal.

I zapped out my 25 pretty quick, was long the LB.YEN and they took it down a ton and they called me out, of course it reversed and was profitable the same day, but I was zapped by then.

wow amazing, i wish i knew what you guys are doing here, it looks like money is bieng made. is this possible to learn quick or do you have to have a nact for it already.i would love to learn if anyone would teach me

 thats what i was worried about with my usd/yen trade and why i only wanted 1 lot.  with such a high leverage and low starting amount of 25, one big swing in the wrong direction and thats it.

 

tagsrock, i would suggest going to www.babypips.com and reading through the baby pips school.  it will teach you all the basics of what you need to know.  also, open up a free practice account pretty much anywhere.  we have been using the one from forex.com.  bucknuts is the resident expert here and I have been mainly sticking to his system.  read through his posts and you should get an idea of what its about.

EURAUD Trend for the Day for Thursday, December 4, 2008

EURAUD is coiling in a tight Pennant formation. The European Central Bank (ECB) rate decision could be the catalyst needed to break this pair out of this range and toward new highs. The daily trend remains up and prices are hugging close to the rising daily support trend line. Buying at support with a stop 50 pips below the trend line targeting the next level of resistance occurring at 2.0597 would be a possible course of action. An alternative course of action entails buying a break or the Pennant at 1.9902.

We are in here everyday....open that free micro with the $25 or open a free practice account and learn as you go.....there money to be made here and its really not that hard

go to cnbc.com and click on contest tab....then open the free account from fxcm.....the free $25 will take a week or so to get there but you can deposit $25 if you like or wait its up to you.......the free practice accounts can be opened anywhere......look forward to helping you along here........isnt there an old saying about teaching a man to fish

ive been reading the link that popinjay left for me and its a lil complicated as of now. im hoping i will get the hang of it by watching and observing you fellas everyday. it says not to trade for 6 months with real money. i think of myself as a fast learner so i want to give this a try, it cant hurt to learn im thinking. thanks alot all u guys and im looking forward to learning as much as possible and i wish yu guys luck and wealth in your trading experiances. thanks again john

Tags i got to be honest with ya.....ive went to the other forums and told some of the other fellas about FOREX....if you gamble on games why wouldnt you try this???Even if you are into stocks the technicals are all the same,i think?
 
These guys that say they are betting 1000s per game could open a mini with 2000 and  they could make $150 at least daily and thats with two lot trades.....you may lose on a trade here and there but i think ive lost $$$ on 3-4 trades since ive been posting here.....and two of those trades would have been good had i just sat and waited for them...read through the threads ive posted over 100 trades 
 
If you are going to jump in id say register at FXCM through cnbc.com and open the free $25 micro....then go ahead and deposit $100....you could then trade two lots at a time.....its going to take awhile to build that up cause you get like .10 cents a pip per lot ...[so youd make .20 a pip w/ two lots]...but you would be trading $$$ and the getting a handle of everything with very little risk
 
Wall finally broke down and tried this.....id like  to get Claycourtlesson in here too .......id think hed kick ass in this too if he would just give it a try....Wall has doubled his funny $$ account and im sure he is way up in his mini by now

usd/jpy dropping a lot now...80 pips on my two lots for 160 so far... gonna keep it going until the moving averages formation breaks on the daily chart

EUR/AUD above 1.99 again.....if it closes above this level im hoping for that push to 2.05........im going to let this go awhile here and see what happens
 
I only got one lot but who cares.....will set a stop at +150 pips when i got to work later maybe even less with that spread this this move fast as hell

Ive got 3 contracts of US/CHF at 1.1988, that pair took a MAJOR dive into the afternoon.

I will hold it for a bit, but I think it ends up making me a nice return since the contract is so wild and has a high beta it seems.

Wall if you look at the charts that drop came with a cross of the DMI lines.....was a good trade and you could see it coming....i was already in EUR/AUD or i woulda had that one.....you are right on that bounce too i bet,the +DMI will bounce off ADX...RSI is also in your favor

well i have to be honest, after going through pree schol i actually can read your replys and actually understand slightly what you guys are talking about and trying to do here and i like it alot so far. Im going to read over the schools and lingos and all that for about a week and then after that start trying a free account.
 
 i will just observe you guys and keep reading and learning, you never know it might be for me it might not, but like you said i had over 2 dimes a night in action over there why not here.
 
  Thanks again you will be seeing more of me in here but for now i have to go over its almost time for the daily action to begin and i need some time to study that. we will se you guys back in here later probablly whining abut losing a game but ill be back. I see theres alot of stuff to learn how long have you guys been at this, it seems that wall is doing well and poppin is coming along slow and steady. thanks again and good luck ill be back later

IN CHF if you draw a trend line on the dailys......a move down into the mid 1.1850-70s may come b4 the next leg up.......but that dip to 1.1920s may be the bottom here......this pair has seen the DMIs cross several times over the past few days.....buys and sells accordingly were are +++$$$ trades

One of the other instructors likes a sell of USD/CAD....if you draw a trend line sell now and get out with 300+ pips....maybe more if you can stick it out
 
Trend line would come in at 1.2450ish b4 a bounce....this is his post from today....just bringing it up cause its close to its high

This is a dramatic example of divergence between price and the MACD on this USDCAD pair. Coupled with a double top, this would be a solid indication of a potentially bearish move. It may not be an all out change in the trend, but, as can be seen on the chart, a pullback of several hundred pips did occur after the double top

That CHF chart turned into a disaster very quickly, but like you say the technical picture is good and I feel pretty comfortable that the trade will go my way, maybe even by tomorrow. It has reversed about 40 pips already tonite.
