Well i hope im not early in this one but its bottom bottom on the 4hr right now......just bought 2 lots of USD/SGD at 1.48777
set a limit for 40 pips will check in the am

SJ 29...if you are going to start with $100.00 id say to go to fxcm......use the cnbc promotion and youll get an extra $25 to trade with,the $25 will take a week to show up but its free $$$$
 
 
 
in that mini lots are $2.50 and you get .10 per pip its a great way to practice with very little risk

Well i got the 40 from SGD and its back down to where i bought.....i got to work but ive called my brother hopefully hes watching.....it may push even lower here but the 4hr chart is almost ready again,would like to see the RSI come back down a bit here

sold one lot of my usd/jpy last night for 40 pips... put a trailing stop on the other one before bed.  got stopped out for 25pip by one pip then it moved down another 130!! LOL 

 

haven't had much luck with trailing stops the little bit i've been experimenting with them.  i think they would be more useful for long term trades

my mind has gone blank and i think i sold eur/aud this morning as i left to work (saw a +dmi downcrossing the adx).  can't even remember the number now, but i think it was around 8:15 and limit 35 pips so if that's true it should have hit.  haha this is gonna bother me all day now

Thanks bucknuts!!!! I appreciate the info. Not that I'll make a killing at .10 a pip, but is getting your money from fmcm O.K.?Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

I am getting knocked on my two USD positions, any US pair is down yet again today. I think trends reverse and this will too.



This might be teaching me a lesson about stops..so far I havent used them rather averaging into positions and only have one losing trade.

Sold EUR/USD at 1.3368....fib says its coming back under1.32 so im gonna leave it open and watch......

Im still sitting on my two positions, not going anywhere.

This USD death march wont continue for eternity, or so I hope anyway.

did soemthing just happen in last 15min???  i cant make a trade in my FXCM account for some reason and EVERY pair had huge drops or gains in last 10-15min

eur/aud went up 250 pips.  around 10 of the 12 pairs in my fxcm dealing window changed 5-200 pips in last 5-15 mins???

Yeah the US pairs got massacred..

Just butchered..still getting killed.

What the auto bailout has to do with the USD is beyond me though.

still cant place an order... wanted to try and fade one of the spikes. dont know if they are locking everyone out, or if something is wrong with my software/computer/account?

i can make trades with my forex practice account, but the fxcm when i put in a trade it does not execute, then after about 5 minutes it closes and i get a 'request timeout'.  pretty annoying!
