Today's move to the upside is quite surprising. The board is full of green numbers.
GOOG is getting ready to take off. I noted this stock at 1200 in a thread somewhere. 1340 now. QQQ goes hand in hand with the strategy. I noted it at 170 in my China thread. Now 204.
CVS continues to rock and roll at 75.44. When will it take a breather?
I am very hesitant to initiate new positions at these levels but think the VGK and the XLE will eventually recover and join the party. They both have been dead money for over a decade.
Yeah....we don't love CVS anymore since it went from 54 to 74. I'm holding on still though! This is a tough stock pickers market Buck. My portfolio goes up every day and I scour the tape for a stock on sale and can't find a single one. Then, the next day, everything is up again.
It's almost too good to be true!
You're welcome Buck and Happy Holidays! I wish I could figure out the next 6 month, 40% gainer but it's getting tougher. Nothing is really popping out at me at the moment so I'll just build cash until I come up with something I like or whenever the markets correct.
Buck...in my entire life of investing I have never dabbled in the metals. The 30 year charts are horrendous compared to the s&p and I have never been one to try to time commodities. I have looked into DIS but haven't made a move....I own it in my mutual funds though! OMER is looking good again but you know I am still asleep at the wheel on that one. It seems every time it's dipped down, I sit on my hands waiting on a bigger sale.
