so i got stopped out of a gbp/usd short by 1-2 pips AGAIN today!!!! second day in a row hahah that will dive you nuts. luckily it was after i sold half my position and moved my stop loss to zero. made out with profit but still left 75 pips on the table after that big move down

Hit my limit in AUD....job numbers coming out this am..im about to take a nap hope i can be up for some of the action
Havent seen any talk from you guys on the new NFA rules..first in first out and some companies doing away with stop and limit orders.....i know FXCM doesent have either anymore .....

Regarding the rules, I dont mind about FIFO and FXDD hasnt changed their rules, at least that I have seen and others have a work-around just making a different classification of orders..

Its all good though i got the TOOL show tonight so i needed some sleep....
Lucky i got in and out when i did AUD/JPY moved up 200 pips as well,i sold on the down cross at 4 am...reversed and had an up cross at 8am....
I had a good week hope you all did as well,i love trading early am....when i first found forex i was trading at 3am,id buy or sell depending on the close of that half hour block on the chart cause the 330 candle was almost always the same top to bottom...so if it closed on top of a candle id sell,if it closed on the bottom id buy
Look at CHF high at 3am 1.0655 low was 1.0638....i would have sold and set a limit for 15 pips or so and been out b4 430......i know it doesnt sound like a good idea but it worked and its what got me hooked on this stuff...
I dont know my sched for next week yet,only a few more weeks and the kids will be back in school so things will settle down here on the home front and ill be here everyday......heres to you guys have a good weekend see ya Sunday

Only got 64 of the drop...im back in on the other side..up 25+ pips....im going to bail on this soon i got to step out....FXinsider is saying they still favor USD over the other pairs except JPY

No..I have a decision to make and I have to commit more money to this than what I initially did so I dont get whipped around like I did a while ago..so I am holding onto what I have and will add to have a 25k balance in the near future.
I dont think you can succeed at the Forex with less than 25k, even with tight stops and a good strategy.

If youre in a micro i think if you had 5k youd be ok...i mean at $1 per pip thats alot of wiggle room...i think 2k would be good to start with really,you just cant be loading up on lots...but the more $$$ you have the better off youll be for sure
I dont think forex.com has a cap on how much $$$ you can have in the micro accounts,i dont know about the others..you have to be ready to average down..i may end up averaging more than others but if you got the scratch and the stomach for this youll be fine.
I coulda held onto that CAD trade after the bottom fell out it ran back to almost 1.11..

Im still pissed i didnt hold onto this...you could see on the chart it was going up at least that much and it actually hit 1.7250 b4 the pullback....that being said i have spent 1/5 the time in front of the computer than i have working this week and the return isnt bad
