Entry Points for Bitcoin and Ether....

Hi All,

Actually have Bitcoin from in the $500's but very little
And beating myself up of course.
Wife is techie too and loved ether under $10 and I 
Didn't buy. The old adage hindsight is 20/20, whatever! :-(.....

Looking at acquiring some of both of these for long term.
I just can't pull trigger on Bitcoin at this level, OMFG!!!!
The Chinese are manipulating this too and don't trust.
Does Bitcoin go down some? Ether went down a bit in last few
Days.
What are feelings as to entry point of both of these??
When to buy?

Just look at the difference already since you posted about inquiring. You will always miss the entry points if you always hold back.

Yup, I had a chance to buy Ether at $11 and didn't pull the trigger!! am still buying though, not too late.

ive read a lot and a lot of these experts think bitcoin will be $10,000 and even more think ethereum will be bigger than bitcoin

Bitcoin can reach 10k you just wont be able to sell it to anyone!

I hope you bought when I said to buy. Ether is $350 after hitting $400s and btc is $2500 after hitting $3000. I just bought more btc at 2100 the other day at a peak low. And it's back to 2500

i think everyone's risk tolerance is preventing them from making a informative decision.  if you are risk adverse, id advise not to trade crypto currency since they are not asset backed.  however, if you are comfortable with high systematic risks, you will be rewarded in the short term. just set a goal and always have an out.  like any investment, stop-losses need to be in place to protect YOUR money.

Both are currently tanking hard. Ship jumpers on both eth and btc.

Any crypto currency is an interesting play.  An article in today's WSJ talked about how the crypto currencies are an alternative play to the fiat currency of your favorite nation.  In short, they are a hedge to the political madness encapsulating the monetary currency of today.   How many countries are indebted today ???  

I think a lot of folks that invested early here have stumbled into a wonderful opportunity,  where they have multiplied their fortunes several times fold.  Good for you..

Who knows where it goes from here... A lot of it depends on the scariness of the society at large.. Much like gold is priced.....

Thanks for the link.  I'll take a look.  At first blush this seems a bit loony given that my biggest problem is finding people to sell at the market value price, instead of "above." market value.
