Shares of Trump Media & Technology Group are in free fall. 

The Truth Social owner’s share price dropped another 5%
as of mid-day Friday, leaving it on track for a seventh
losing day out of the past eight.

The only gain during that span was a tiny one of 0.8% on Tuesday.

Trump Media is now trading below $31 
That’s a far cry from the intraday spike to nearly $80 on March 26,
the day it went public on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “DJT.”

Trump Media & Technology Group’s stock is tumbling again after the company announced a potentially massive new influx of shares. The struggling company is rapidly losing money

A new stock offering might help it stay afloat.

But there’s a downside to going back to the market with more shares: The addition of 21.5 million shares for sale announced Monday would add more than 15% more stock to the publicly available shares of the Truth Social owner. That would substantially devalue existing shareholders’ stakes — including that of former President Donald Trump. And it means that millions of shares could be sold off.

Shares of TMTG (DJT) fell roughly 18% Monday afternoon!!!

Yikes. Down to $27 per share from $77 a few weeks ago. There goes the claim that Trump is "worth" billions.

Sad day for MAGAs who bought into that crap of a worthless meme stock

The steep declines have put a dent in Trump’s net worth.

The former president’s stake was valued at $5.2 billion at the closing high for Trump Media’s stock price.

As of Monday’s close, it plummeted to about $2.1 billion. Trump’s net worth fell roughly $470 million Monday from the stock’s plunge.

on CNN's "Out Front" hours after news broke
Trump Media would put more than 20 million
shares up for sale because, as host Erin Burnett
put it, "the company's bleeding money."

       "It is a sad story," Alexander told Burnett.
       "And the trouble here is that if you look at the
              fundamentals of the company —
   it's poised to go down a LOT more!"

Trump has a 6 month restriction on selling shares and the recent shelf was not his shares, so by the time he is able to sell the stock could be in the single digits. I have to think that even though he has the time restriction he might have been buying puts in advance to lock in a price at the end of the six months. I dont know if that is even allowed but you have to think that a schemer like Trump who has wrecked several public companies and who employs people to represent him has found a way to lock in a min financial figure that he can bank on. Buying puts when the stock was over 30 would mean if he bought the 30 strike price for November then it entitles him to sell the shares at that strike price.

To determine if he did pull that scheme you would have to check time and sales for all the strikes and expiry dates, not sure he is allowed but you have to think he is counting on that cash and would find a way around restrictions if possible.

Or his buddies are the ones that will short this stock to 0 while walking away with never having to return shares all tax free.

 Good theory the only issue with that is if he were even sniffed to be doing that it would be a felony securities violation and the paper trail would not be difficult to pave if there was such activities.
