Good job with these threads fellas.

I sold my EU.CDN just now on that wild spike, for 40 pips.

Now up 7k in fuzzy money in about 10 days.

US.CHF got smacked 150 pips in 15 minutes, has to be news related.

Order in to buy long at 1.1575

Missed the CHF by a pip so far.

Looking to short the Eu.USD at 1.28ish, huge spike..

do your guys platforms offer weekly reports.
 
just closed my last position for the week
 
and its been a long one usd/jpy had me beating my head against a wall.
 
but I ended up w/ $2,505.38  for the week,  on my $6,000 playdough account 
 
 
hey wall if you get a min. could you review this broker.
Im going to open a mini account, and have not talked to anyone who use them,  they are up and comming and just got aquired by td ameritrade. 
 
some of the perks look pretty good, like internet reimbursment.
 
pip spreads seem fair, 
 
but it is kind of important to me to have all of my investments at one place. 
 
fx,  401k,  stocks, and options (if I ever go back to school and learn about them) 
 
I would appreciate your or anyone who is a vetran investor and could offer some feedback..

Wow..

US pairs getting smacked around heavy today, across the board.

Tried to average up on my CHF long and EU short, but missed so far..both are swimming right now.

I sold usd/cad before lunch and it dropped 60-70 pips in notime.

looks like my prayers were answered and that strong resistance in mid 94's held up in usd/jpy.  just wish i could have been at home to average up my position before this huge downward move.  from what i've seen when strong resistance like this hold up where multiple support levels and formations indicate a resistnace/support then the bounce will be pretty big.  hope this selling pressure continues into next week

just heard that citifx is insuring accounts
fdic insurance is pretty solid,
 
have not looked at their software, or spread,  and the min. deposit is 10,000 didnt see a mini account option

rick,

I checked it out..but I couldnt find spread info or how good the charting is.

For me the important points are spreads, charts and deposits/WDs.

I will check online for reviews from other Forex members, I would suggest you do the same.

At a first glance it looks ok though..and that said I am not a fan of needing a one shop approach..find the best you can and dont worry about having ONE source.

After a shallow move up for the US pairs, they turn around and sell the hell out of them and fast.

CHF down 70 pips in no time, EU.USD up over 100 pips just as quick.

A nice profit turned around 2k in the last hour on my pairs.

hey whats up fellaswasnt around yesterday took a few of my buddies up to the Cavs game......Razorgator has great deals on tickets....im already thinking about buying tickets to the Celtics game which is the next to last home game.....
 
 
Had a great time at the game but i missed out on several trades....USD/JPY cross at 11pm......USD/CHF ADX +DMI cross at 11pm....
 
Going to start my week with a sell of EUR/JPY  at 1.2130 set a limit for $850....

Yeah the 1Hr,2hr@4hr charts all look like sells with 2 of them showing crosses.....the +DMI is low though in the 30s.....but with all three charts looking that way im hoping it moves my way....
 
I woke up late or id be out of this puppy was up 26 pips or so now back to even....this block wont close until 11 so we will know for sure which way shes going to go by then...

CHA CHING......nothing like making a weeks worth of pay b4 lunch on your day off
 
My goal is to do this full time starting second week of May.....dont plan on going back to work after my Vegas trip

I had usd/ jpy before I tailed you and that moved at about half the rate eur/jpy did
 
so Im out 750 play bucks ahead

Worst part is Rick the 4hr chart is just now showing a cross....dont want to guess but it may drop to 1.20 flat.....I know theres a million different ways to read these charts but i feel ive found a pretty simple system[not that it hasnt been used by somebody b4 but i found it myself] that works at least 90% of the time.....and if you are alittle more selective with your trades id say its close to 100%

Ill be around most of the day Rick but its pretty simple.....just look at the 4hr chart
 
We had the +DMI line crossing down through the ADX line with the RSI around 70....thats a sell sign
 
Now if the +DMI line was crossing up through the ADX with the RSI oversold 30 or lower its a buy
 
You can also trade the crosses of the DMIs....USD/JPY lastnight was a perfect example....you had the +DMI cross up through the   -DMI with the RSI in the 50s....you couldve bought below 93 and got out close to 94.50....though i prob wouldve taken 50 or so but with 2lots your talking about $1000+.....
 
Now a good chart for a sell DMI cross look at the 4hr USD/CHF...2/20 7am...you had the +DMI cross down through the  -DMI and ADX...sell at 1.18 and exit?????good for almost 300 pips

I am probably quitting my job in august, to go back to school.  I have been saving up since I got back from Iraq 8 months ago  and it would be nice to do this in my free time, and hopefully make some money to put down into my retirement account.

saved up enough to pay my mortage for the better part of a year, insurance + all my bills, and incidental school costs for about 18 months . It has been hell but,  now I am trying to save around 5000 to open a live forex account, and start off with 1/4 and half lots.  If it all works out, maybe I can go for my masters. 

but the only sure income I will have is my GI bill, (which just got raised) so It is important for me to have some sort of income besides baseball betting

Im not sure what platform you guys are all using but i have to say that forex.com has got to be one of the better ones....i know some dont like the spreads here but whats a few pips really?The forex insider and market news features are pretty helpful....im kicking myself right now after FXinsider stated that the Cad #s released at 8:30 were Usd/Cad positve...i coulda jumped in at 1.2470/80s now 1.2525....and he stated 1.2560 would be the next hurdle
 
Not to mention ive had no problem taking out $$$$$.....maybe you guys will find a better site but i think this has got to be one of the best ones out there....and they got the 10yr track record
