the "Macau Monsters" of LVS and WINN just roaring friday with LVS at a new recovery high of 15.40 and climbing. even the "Desert Dogs" of MGM and BYD are moving.
 
did they file to become banks or something? I can't see and substancial news other than LVS financing against it's proposed Macau offering last wednesday.
 
looks like classic "kill da bears" short squeeze AGAIN. TD has NO stock to loan in LVS so the retail bears are getting paddled AGAIN.
 
should have just held the 30K I had in my IRA under $2 back in March

freeking 15.50+ LVS and they are KILLING the shorts the last hour.  this fucker looks like it want's to go to $20+ just on pure BULLSHIT

Do you see LVS dropping again? Something tells me it just might and I should wait to get a better price on it. But even at this price it looks like a maybe buy.

By the way Rat you called it a buy at $10 didnt you. Dam I wish I had grown some balls and got on the phone that minute and made some hard money.

I called it a BUY below $2 back in March because I just couldn't see Sheldon Adelson going broke and because of their Macau ops AND proposed Singapore casino, which will be a monopoly at least in the near tearm and should be completed the end of this year, AND their Shanghi license, although they are hold back on starting constuction.
 
I'm just ROYAL PISSED I traded the damn stock. had 30k in my IRA at an average just over $2 and another 10k in my trading account. I made a good score on both BUT nothing like IF I had held AND have pissed away about a third of that trying to short the fucker when itr has one of these outrageous runs.  
 
only thing I can figure out is that this proposed Hong Kong offering of Macau assets is gonna be hot BUT, unless LVS holds get some stock issued to them, then is a DILUTION and should be HURTING the stock.

Props to you for even messing with LVS-----wouldn't touch that one (long or short) unless I had serious inside info----and then maybe not.
 
Trading LVS is like dealing with the devil himself.

is there EVER any "rhyme or reason" in the stock (or commodity)markets? it's which ever way the "hedge hogs" want to drive it. just look at crude oil vs natural gas.

If I could take delivery, I'd take every single penny I could scrounge up right now and buy as much physical cubic feet of Nat Gas as I could possibly store.

a "buying panic" in LVS and, for some damn reason, MGM monday am as the shorts got run AND the mutual fund lemmings don't want to look like fools for missing this move.
 
trading top? I don't know BUT when you have a move from just over $6 to over $16 in two months, that's  
 
how much more "good news" can there be?

looks like they are setting the LVS retail bears up for another fucking. put in an over market ss order and NO stock again at TD Ameritrade
 
IF it holds here around $16, could be another "scare da bear" late.
 
also "Desert Dog" MGM holding above $9. that's up against one month resistance BUT IF it get's thru there it could possable move like back in May.

it's thru $10 wednesday with an early interday high of $10.34 which is the highest it's been ex for the spike move back in May AND an NYSE most active. may have to take a chance long here for a "mo" trade.

MGM took their Detroit Casino off the market Friday and the stocks up to 10.50 interday.

Hey CC or Rink  or anybody reading for that matter if you guys got a min.....ive been helping my mom make trades in a few stocks and when i saw you guys talking nat gas i figured i could get an opinion on a stock

CHK....shes been in and out a few times the last several months...shes in now just over $21 per share...its up over $24 again today can i get your thoughts on this stock please?

just from a chart basis it looks like CHK may be breaking out of a trading range BUT I would be the LAST person to ask about a natural gas stock.
 
freeking MGM thru $11. looks like it might re-test that May spike high. volume comig in. it's a NYSE most active again and has greater volume that LVS today.

MGM back over $12 friday @ $12.30 + 1.06 and still climbing
 
can it make it's May 9th interday high of $14.01?
 
also the "Macau Monsters" up big again. WYNN over $65 and LVS over $17

btw, the gal who lives acroos the street from me that is a reservations super at the MGM's Luxor said they were SOLD OUT over Labor day at rates of $300+ per night SO maybe, just MAYBE, the town is turning the corner.

looks like some "I got MINE" selling of the gamers coming in after the shorts got run AGAIN early friday. not suprising considering their moves this week BUT probably doesn't bust the up trend.

btw, the gal who lives acroos the street from me that is a reservations super at the MGM's Luxor said they were SOLD OUT over Labor day at rates of $300+ per night SO maybe, just MAYBE, the town is turning the corner.
 
and then I watch Nevada Week in Review saturday and the Review-Journal's (our local right wing fish wrapper) Business writer was "gloom, dispare and agony one me" esp about MGM.

monday 9-14 Dow Jones reports that LVS raised to Buy from Neutral by B of A-Merrill. stock just under $18 at a new recovery high from those March lows.
 
sell at the bottom, buy at the top? what happens to the "Macau Monsters" IF the US and China get into a trade pissing contest?

that's the problem with nat gas, it's hard to store,,,,unlike oil.  I'd bet oil will drop in price moreso than nat gas jump up in price.  Demand still crashing,,,,,

new interday and recovery high of 18.40 for LVS with 2 hours to go. TD once again with NO stock to borrow so the retail bears still getting smacked. unless thre is some kind of late "snaproll" like friday, LVS could see $20 in the next day or two just on running the shorts in BUT I'm also always supicious when some fundamental "anal"ysts say "BUY" after a hugh run. that can easy be a setup for a pranging.

almost looks like a "blowoff" in the "Macau Monsters" monday esp WYNN. opened at 63.94 and ran to a late interday of 69.41 before closing @ 68.99 + 4.49 for the day on almost 5 1/2 million shares which is a million more than it's 50 day average.  
 
was 52.68 on the close sept 2nd and under 30 back in early July
