This purely technical, but I believe QTWW is due any day for a "blow off top."  It has all the makings for one as far as its price/volume deal goes.
 
Then, of course, it will sell off, then rally back below its all time high, then get sold off in to oblivion.
 
That is how these micro caps work.
 
If you can handle it, I'd buy some now, then wait for the blow-off top-----you could possibly get close to 5ish on it (not bad cause it's still a shade under 3).  Sell the blow-off, then take 1/2 your profit and ride it for round 2.  Then, it's over.
 
What I am going to do at today's close......get some and let it ride for the blow-off, which could happen any time, and will happen exactly when you don't want it to (like while you're waiting for something to pull back, and then it never does).
 
You know how it goes, man.

Down 330 now, could EASILY be 500 by the end of the day.

A day like today you buy stocks that are down when reasons for being down are not company specific.

Vermeer, I disagree. As the leader of the country the guy has not come forward with ANYTHING. Blaming it on congress is not going to cut it. He has no energy policy and hasnt since being in office. Congress doesnt get a pass but Bush has made things worse by making us look WEAK to the rest of the world and his trip to Saudi Arabia was a disaster, a laughing stock.

Oh yeah......takes some balls to set up shop down in South America.  The first 4 years would be horrific, but if you could survive it, then you are gold for the rest of your life.
 
Nonetheless, I am too old for this type of thing, but you youngsters out there might be able to pull it off.

The trip was necessitated by Congressional ignorance, the ignorance of the American public, and Democratic and Republican administrations reaching back to 1970.

1.No refineries built in 30 years.Want to live next to one? Neither does anyone else. I get it.

 2. No drilling off coastal areas known for oil deposits.

 3. SUVs as the highest selling vehicles for ten consecutive years, only broken by a sedan recently.

 4.Unabated flight from city centers, to bedroom communities studded with cathedral ceilings and guaranteed decades of wasteful energy use.It is a free country, however.

 The public does not get a pass either Wall. It will either change its behavior or throw more money and lives down the drain...but the choice has always been there to make, since the first embargo. And you know what we chose.

We are puppets to an ologopoly, that is the bottom line.

I think she rolls over late here.

Refineries dont find crude and gas prices are a function of crude prices. You are right that we cannot process enough, but that doesnt equate to 4 bucks a gallon and going higher, much higher after today.

I drive around town and prices are moving up intra-day which means the pumps are taking advantage.

We as a country are looking like fools..from SUVs to energy inefficiencies, to not having a plan from the top down.

We are being reactionary and are really not even good at that.

Lets think what else we could do that would be stupid..here is an idea. Lets give a tax break to those who buy a car that gets under 15 per gallon since that will help the auto makers and those poor people who have to pay high prices at the pump. This is the sort of thing we would do.

I got in QTWW technically, the other day at $2.72.  All trends point higher at this point.  I was curious to see if you had a different angle.  $5 seems like a high target, I'd take $3.50 all day long.

Not a good day today.  From a technical perspective, the damage being done today to SP 500 is real and legitimate.
 
Yesterday was a sucker's rally.......most figured that.  Today is a turning point sell-off.

Very tempted to let the SPY short ride until Monday, but if I do that, then the gambling gods will severely punish me for being a greedy bastard--------bad karma, man.

McCain is most definitely not a supporter of ethanol which is why he lost in Iowa and could in the fall.

5ish may not be a close, but it could very well be an intra-day high.
 
You could easily see a BOOM to 5ish, but it won't last for more than a few minutes. 
 
A parabolic spike....usually at an open......seen it many times before.  You've seen it, too.
 
2.72 is a good price.....let it run to 5ish.

If McCain is against ethanol, then I am for McCain (on this issue).

We are making other prices higher by subsidizing ethanol.

It is like subsidizing someone to run a ski resort on a mountain where gold and platinum could be mined for quite a bit more, but you WANT a ski resort instead.

The cost of our ethanol production makes it stupid and inefficient to pursue.

Our energy policy (if you can even call it that) is a result of pandering for certain voting constituencies...that, and a gross ignorance of, oh, say 5.57 billion other people...

 It is a crime and a pity, it truly is...ignorance may be bliss, but it is expensive in many, many ways.

 If you create an atmosphere hostile to exploration, combine it with deliberately wasteful transportation decisions, and are ignorant that there are millions and millions more people able and willing to pay for what you need, well, one day, it catches up with you...it may seem like it happened overnight to some people, but this has been going on a long time...

This is as ugly a start to a day as you can get.....and what's horrible is that today is Friday, which means the selling and panic will be exacerbated.

Going to cover the short right here at 137.37.  Over 560 bones of it, though, to W and little Dickie boy.  How fabulous!!!!!!!!

Just not worth it to let this thing ride until Monday......some short covering bullcrap could knock off 75% of these gains.

by the way, I've been slowly entering Natty Gas plays for the hurricane season.  I have NGAS with a $7.95 basis and I entered into some SWN september $45 calls today.

Nah, Gunners, man, I've taken some severe and brutal beatdowns in the past because I forgot who I was.
 
I'm just a typical sheethead "little guy" in shark infested waters.  When the goal is reached, I take my money and humbly remember how worthless my sorry ass is to big money players that can move prices willy nilly.
 
I do just fine that way.  I get in to trouble any other way.

And yep, unless you're part of a crime syndicate that trades in collusion with other syndicates with billions of dollars, in addition to access to inside info, then none of us is jack s..t compared to the overall market.
 
There is no worse or violated feeling than being up nicely, getting greedy, and then seeing everything black just get "vaporized" into red.......cause then you realize how worthless and sorry you are compared to big time players.  And no one will listen and time won't wait while you watch your account go right in to the pocket of cheaters and liars.....and there ain't a gd thing you can do about it.
 
Truly a horrible feeling, and I've had it before.
