Had no clue what the hell a Bitcoin was until the poster Vanzak posted on it. I went through many of his posts and realized this man is not a jackarse. So i decided that researching and obtaining as much knowledge as I can on the Bitcoin would not be a waste of my time. And so I did. When I saw that CHINA was somehow involved in this, that made me even more intrigued. I kept reading many posts on facebook and twitter by the many morons who thought GOLD would be the wonderful new currency that transitions wealth, but I knew that was wrong and shorted Gold last November when it was trading at 1780. I will stay short on Gold as well till it becomes essentially a worthless metal, which it will become sooner than later.
But back to Bitcoins. After I have done all my research and due diligence, and after I prayed on it for wisdom, I was enlightened to buy these things, not to use to gamble, but as an investment, no different than how i bought Euros back in the early 2,000's when it was under $1. I saw at that time the Bitcoin was exchanging at $17 a coin, and so I bought myself at first 100 coins. When I saw the coin went up to $30 a coin, at first I was ready to cash out till something told me to buy more. I had just beaten Youwager for 17k and i figured screw it. I will buy 300 coins for 9k. So in total i had 400 coins costing me 10,700 dollars. As of this morning, my 400 coins is worth 200-240k. I have zero intentions of exchanging them for dollars yet either and i could careless if the value drops to 100 a coin either. The reason being is because i believe BITCOIN will be the GOLD of the future!
So Vanzak, i thank you- Actually, I thank God for you. And I owe you a commission fee. You deserve it!!

Thanks for the heads up on this bud! That is amazing news that you posted a thread that you have 400 bitcoins at an all time high! Where was your post saying that bitcoins were the GOLD of the future at $30.00 a coin? Man, fella, wish you had posted then. I would have owed you a commission! Maybe a joint trip with our ladies to the Grenadines? Ugh, too bad!
You could care less that you would lose 170K if it drops to 100 a coin?
PM me. I need a financial adviser. You seem like a straight shooting cat.

The reason I don't care what it falls to is because i am in it for the long haul, and if it falls which i believe it probably will temporarily, it gives me an opportunity to buy more. I have concluded beyond any doubt that the Bitcoin will be the GOLD of the future, while Gold will become the toilet paper. I foresee all currencies becoming worthless while the Bitcoin takes dominion. But I would have never even knew about this bitcoin had it not been for the poster Vanzak, and I would have never wasted my time researching Bitcoin had Vanzak not had previous posts that reflected his intelligence, and even more so than intelligence, his good will for people.

Wall- That is fair. But i am not the one taking the credit--I am giving the credit to Vanzak. It was his call, not mine. My take is that when it is someone else's labors and not really your own, (although i did extensive research on it after the illumination by Vanzak), if it works out, he gets praise- if it don't work it out, no reason for the guy to feel bad thinking he is the reason someone lost money..it is bad enough when u lose your own money, but when u got people bashing you for losing their money it compounds the grief. Also, to be blunt about it, although i thought that Bitcoin could turn out to be something really big, i never dreamed of it happening that quick.. I figured it would take 10-30 yrs before i would see significant money from it which if i did, it would have been retirement money for me, or if i was dead it would have been left behind for my little niece. Also, had i not won 17k from Youwager, i never would have bought more than the original 100 i got at 17.
Anyway, i have no issues with giving Vanzak a few thousand dollars- he earned it!
Lastly, and i believe you would agree with me- selling 400 coins at 800 is 320,000. In the world we live in today, is 320,000 really going to change anyone's life that much? Heck, in my part of the woods here in Jersey, you can't get a broken down tent in the ghetto with that. Why sell my coins when i bought them with the thought process that i or my niece either have millions in 10-20 yrs or I lost nothing because the money i used to buy them wasn't even mine, it was Youwagers. I have seen people sell their Lottery tickets(the ones that pay 1,000 a week for life) for something like 300,000, and in a year they are flat broke with more debt than they had before hitting the lottery.

In 2012, the relative value of $1.00 from 1980 ranges from $2.36 to $5.67. contemporary standard of living value of that income or wealth is $3.13
economic status value of that income or wealth is $4.11
economic power value of that income or wealth is $5.67
So lets break this down very simply- In 1980, if your goal was to make 1 million dollars, and you made it, today that million is worth anywhere between 130,000- 320,000. If you wanted to be a millionaire in 1980 and were unable to achieve that goal, but you are still hoping to get there, well it is not 1 million dollars anymore-it is anywhere between 2.3 mil -5.6 mil you need to get to.
Now lets break this down some more real fast- 1 million dollars a year income in 1980 was considered very wealthy- but 150,000 a year income today (what 1 million was in 1980)for a family of 4 is borderline middle class(one can make the argument depending on what state they live that 150k a year for a family of 4 is poverty)! Statistics show that only 4.2% of Americans earn between 150,000- 200,000, and only 3.9% earn over 200k or more. 62% of Americans make less than 75,000 a year with 49% of Americans making less than 50k a year.
So Wages have not increased-cost of living has= Poverty for 90% of America!
Solution? Deflation because deflation is much better than revolution!

Not sure what you are laughing at because the joke is on you if you think 320,000 is going to make a dramatic difference in your life!
Are you dense? You can spout off all you want about how the aforementioned amount isn't squat in terms of a relevant amount of wealth. Seriously, how many people can say that they are able to access 300K of liquid assets? Any idiot can tell you that you cannot retire, sail into the sunset, etc on 300K. But to say that that 300K is not a difference maker in any any future investment is asinine. I can personally vouch that 300K would be a major 'dramatic' difference in many peoples lives.
Regardless, don't answer the first question. I read a few of your other posts; my God, you have to be kidding me on some of your threads! Those posts answered my first question in this response.

Finally - someone realizes that they should thank God for Vanzack. This day is way overdue.
Seriously - Im glad this has worked out for you. Congrats.
Give my commission to a local animal rescue charity. Tell them that it came from some dude with a supermodel on a yacht.
Continued success.

You come here and say you bought at 17 when it is trading over 500?
Where was this post 6 months to a year ago?
Wall -
I have a dated post in GD forum - I bought for 13.50!
The second yacht is now on order!
Please don't disrupt this obviously well informed person about talking about my intelligence and good nature towards humanity. We could all learn something from him.
Thanks in advance.

I don't need $300K to make a difference. Hell, $50K would make a difference.
Student Loans, Engagement, Girl needs a new car, She saw a deal so good she had to waste money, Wedding Planning, Starting a college fund for (UNBORN) Kids, Visiting my family for TGiving, Her Family for Xmas..... Wait, maybe I do need the $300K....
Is buying a yacht on my radar? NO... hahaha (and not because I live in a land locked state)

I can give you 300k today and i would bet in a year you would be broke and probably worse off than you were before i handed you the 300k... I would bet you but i know you won't have money to pay me when you lose!

The Brady Bunch home here in New Jersey that the middle class families in the 70s,80s 90s now costs 500,000. Not sure exactly how a young couple who just got married is going to have 20% to put down, but lets say they can get the mortgage with only 5% down. Their mortgage will be 2,400 a month. That comes out to 29,000 a year. Add insurances, water tax, sewer tax and we are at over 30,000.
Now add 2 car payments a month for you and the wife and that is another 500 a month which is 6k a year. Add insurance for both cars and that is another 1,500-2,000. So we are at 38,000 so far.
Electric bill for the year will be around 3,000 and Gas a little less, lets say 2,000, and lets add Cable/net/phone at 1,800 for the year. So we are at 45k.
Now lets add cell phones, 1,200 a year, Gasoline per month at 300 which is 3,600 a year. So we are are at 50k.
Now lets add health insurance, life insurance, dental insurance- lets say all that is 2,000 a month- so we are at 74k.
Now lets add groceries for the week - food ,cleaning detergents, paper goods, personal hyg, - lets say that comes out to 1,000 a month, so we are at 86k.
We are already at 86k needed for the year, and we have not touched.. Clothing for you and wife Hair parlors for wife Manicures and Pedicures for wife Taking wife out to movies, dinner and an occasional broadway show. Money needed for Gifts(holidays, birthdays, weddings, christenings, graduations) Car maintenance or repairs, Dr co pays and drug co pays
Now add all those to the 86k and now add this
2 CHILDREN!

I can give you 300k today and i would bet in a year you would be broke and probably worse off than you were before i handed you the 300k... I would bet you but i know you won't have money to pay me when you lose!
Maybe use the 300K you have made off bitcoins? I would take that bet if you just were not a blowhard sitting behind a computer trying to stir the pot.
I have a serious question for you. How bored are you to post all this nonsense on a gambling forum?
Seriously, I really want to know what kind of person has the time for all of this? Because you sure do seem to have a good deal of time on your hands for such a savvy investor?
Now piss off.

NO... hahaha (and not because I live in a land locked state)
You are so dumb you don't even realize what you just said above.
You just said If someone gave you 50k, you already SPENT IT..leaving you BROKE.
Now next week, being you have NO MONEY because you just spent the 50k, you will take out NEW TYPE of LOANS. Your credit cards will eventually become maxed out, and many other debts will you incur.
If someone gave you 300k, you will have spent that just as fast as you did the 50k, but probably leaving you in a worse state than before you ever got the 3ook, because you will probably use 10-20% of the 300k to put down on a house, spend the the rest, and not have money in a year to pay the mortgage each month, or all the credit card debt you incurred.
300k today is CRAP! It doesn't dramatically change anyone's life at all. The only way it CAN dramatically change someones life is if they INVEST it and their INVESTMENT yields enough dividends where a person can live comfortably off of.
So as I said, I have an investment in BITCOINS- why would i exit my position when i believe it will continue yielding me more dividends on my initial investment

Why are you attacking the guy? Why is he dumb that he is telling you that even 50K would make a difference in his life? Now you are saying that if someone invests it so it produces a good return then it is life changing?
REGARDLESS, you are talking out of both sides of your mouth. You said, and I quote, 'In the world we live in today, is 320,000 really going to change anyone's life that much?'
Now you are saying that if someone invests it so it produces a good return then it is life changing? Which is it? What do you think I have been trying to say?
Bottom line is that 300K can really change someone's life if invested appropriately.

Semantics!
The college kid above never once mentioned investing 50k. He said he would use it to pay debt and buy things he and his fiancee want. Than he turns around after doing the math and says oh wow, 50k isn't enough, he needs 300k. Which proves my point. Now hand him over 300k, and after he spends that on things he and his fiancee want, he will be saying WOW, 300k is not enough, he needs 1 million. I have seen way to many friends of mine win the lottery(whether the 1,000 dollars a week for life, or the pick 6) only to see them broke and in worse shape in a year than before they ever won a dime.
300K in itself is worthless. The WISDOM one has in knowing what to do with it is PRICELESS!!
