before the markets open, looking for eur/usd to come down.  as rick mentioned there was a lot of negative sentiment toward eur over weekend and from last week it looks overbought.  im holding a short over the weekend so i hope it doenst gap up too much.  have a stop loss just above 1.3

also.  wall,  you were asking about getting another monitor for a laptop the other week

i have a little 17 inch television that i bought while i was overseas and it has an svga cable and just connected it to my laptop. 

10 dollar cord at walmart

you dont need a router or anything just make sure your laptop has an jack for svga hookup.

indeed, i liked that... sold half my position to about break even, have the other lot open.  we'll see what happend when action picks up

I should get an extra monitor, I even have one around..

I dont see any implosions or explosions thus far..

anybody know what general feeling is for the american stock markets are this week?  seems like last week the USD traded pretty much inversely to the DJIA, etc.  for the euro/usd cross anyways (ie - eur/usd went up down with stock markets)

I have to think they move it higher monday with maybe a selloff late, then down into the week.

I dont think the bottom has been put in yet, we have to retest it at some point.

thx wall... thats pretty much what i have gathered reading through some of your guys stock posts.  we haven't seen the bottom yet

dont like the upcross of the dmi coming, but im heading to bed and gonna let this trade roll with the stop loss and see what happens

Finally got that stupid Eu.LB to break down short and bot it back..it took FIVE days to get 70 pips..

Eu.USD crossing long on the 4 hr chart, but how can you buy it long with an RSI at 57?

I didnt see it but the Lb.us was a buy on the 4 hr and has been good for 100 pips.

The EU.AUD is getting down to the low of its RSI channel and has been range trading for a month

The high flying Lb.yen is very overbought but has been so for almost two sessions..it will make a sweet short once it gives in..what a move (I still missed almost 200 pips even though I caught a TON)

Same goes for the EU.CHF..I am inclined to go short this pair versus the LB though..

The NZ.US is testing Feb highs, a high risk/reward short here, but no confirmation on the DMI lines.

I would love to see the LB.USD test the 1.43 area, that would be a triple top and a NICE chart setup for a short.

Lots of SHORTS out there..not sure if that is a good sign or not.

Whats up guys.........took the kids out to my moms yesterday didnt have time to log in.....nice gains for a Sunday guys.....got in GBP and out already with $800 was good for much more but thats ok....Im off to work early today so i should be in earlier tonight....GL to those of you lucky enough to trade afternoons

pretty crappy night, back in today,  looking at the charts and I think gbp/usd is starting to show some weakness around 1.4200 area,  I dont see it going much higher,   the reports today are projected to be favorable to usd, 
 
sell gbp @ 1.4192
 
stop @ 1.4242

oooh didnt like that retraction. a little too fast and furious.

going to exit here, with about 120 pips

and wait to see if gbp/usd will break the 1.4053 support

 buy @ 1.4050

nice rick... i got in for 70pips (2lots) on that last GBP move, but its just so risky trading at work with the remote access and i can't have my chart setups so im going off unfamiliar charts.
 
such a good time to trade in the mornings though
 
from what i can see, it looks like it should come down some more... dont know what pivot points are, but .68 fib level i have at 1.3880.

next breakout would be up to R2 (1.4184) or down to pivot at 1.3977.  i find they sometimes stall at midpoints of these also
