Anyone else noticing the YEN today? It is firm against all counters, even the AUD.

It's come down a little, but is it too much to ask for the fucking bottom to just fall out on this, so I can get out......

   Good luck with the real deal. Now is this a mini or a micro ? Tell me if I have this right. On the usd pairs a pip is worth 10 bucs in a standard account..... 1 buc in a mini......10 cents in a micro.

Its a mini, but it has the option of going from mini to full depending on how an order is entered.

You are right regarding the money per pip..10/1/.10 is correct.

I dont see anything of interest right here, what I am discovering is the correlation between the USD and the US Markets..when the markets are down they are buying the USD pairs, when the market is up they sell.

I placed and pulled a long US.Yen earlier, I think the trend is USD down, so I decided against it.

  I have noticed that trend for months it seems. Your arguments for the dollar staying strong in a bad world economy seems to hold hold some truth. But I think the rest of the world is starting to take alot closer look at what we are doing in all these gov't bailouts and deficits. This could be a huge money maker in forex if and when the dollar gets hit.

Im also noticing the beta is very reduced, not a ton of swings in the short term.

US.Yen about to break down, next support looks like 200 pips below.

I'd love to this EUR/USD break through this support. It's been there 4 times in the last 7 hours, and I hope it finally does it...

I been outta town 1Iron just got back tonight around 9pm.....Dave was awesome....how about them Cavs,have covered every game....bring on Boston!!!!
 
Well Cad/Jpy broke while i was away shame i didnt average better i really could quit my job now....my plan was not to go back to work after vacation but my old man has talked me into working through the summer...he questions forex and wether the way i trade will actually hold up if shit really goes bad and thinks having a steady job is worth holding onto...ill give 4 more months and im out!!!
 
I dont see much chart wise...will be around the rest of the week im off til Monday

1Iron we held the position we had and after the second average and the way the daily chart looked it was a wait and see kinda deal but no way was i going to bail.....the RSI was up in the 60s on the daily and it doesnt spend much time up there..and then went into the 80s only going up another 140 or so pips then
the daily had a DMI cross dont have it open at the moment but we averaged again there and  just got out today...i actually got the message while i was walking to check my bags at the airport....and it then dropped another 60 pips...
 
Thats the most ive ever been down in a trade and i hope it stays that way....had we not of changed the way we are taking out $$$ that trade would have set us back several months of work....but after seeing the tax man this year we have decided to leave our $$$ in the account only taking out what we need/want....real hard not to just go out and get a Camaro or Challenger,i want one sooooo bad..looking to rent one this weekend when we go to Cedar Point hope its a selling point for the wife
 
Just have to be patient in this game and pray for the best...but having some cash to back you up is key here...even in a mini account..when i first started i think forex actually aged me a few years in a few months..lol...and a trade like that one would have had me starting over only to see the pair back down at my entry just a day or so after being knocked out...it happened several times...
 
Wall/Pop i saw you guys talking about trying to hedge...Pop i dont know if you ever saw BH posting about this but it was something he was doing for awhile........i think if you had deep enough pockets and like to range trade off longer term charts thats the way to go....

Well i have had forex open a few different times today and havent seen much of anything until now....AUD/USD is tempting with a cross maybe back to 77?Now at 75.78 the stochs look good on the 4hr so gonna give it a shot here

buck, I know what you said earlier is gonna happen to me. I'm gonna get knocked out on this fuckin' EUR/USD, and about 15 minutes later, the bottom is just going to drop out..... My luck has been like that for a while now...

usd/jpy

bullish engulfing followed by a morningstar bought around 2:30 and im up about 20 pips. 

i think candles are going to be a good tool for scalping small short trades.

out of eur/usd with 20 pips

usd/jpy is going to breakout tonight during asian session though, 

ill keep this one til I get a hundred pips

12 hours of slow but steady gains.

good spot set the stop for the previous low  good support around 95.10 area.

just bought @ 95.68

feel really good about this one.

Whats up guys looks like i got out of my trade right after i left today...if only they were all that easy
 
Dont see much at the moment...looks to me as though Usd/Cad may come down got the +DMI going down through ADX but its so low on the chart IDK....going to try a sell at 1.17147

SJ it was that way for me for awhile but once you get a few Gs in there you will be good to go just keep your orders small too many LOTS will kill you if it goes the other way...if you have to stick with one lot at a time for awhile so be it ...it will come just be patient...everybody on here has been doing pretty good and with time we should all get better...this is so much fun,i mean its almost like gamblin on sports only youre the one sweatn

SJ what are they saying about the news due out for the Eur is it looking good or bad?
Im still in Cad miised my exit by 5 pips or so...im going to move it down to $350 up just over $100 right now was hoping for $200 at least and Id bail here b4 bed....
