Figure the one day we been around and ive had the laptop handy theres no good charts...i like $/JPY shrt by it may only go to 9250..so im not gonna nibble there...

$/Cad could be setting up to cross and dip lower...maybe ill see a price good enough to average..or even better the cross rejects and this bitch pops higher..ive taken off my limit,ill be around here the rest of the night..

Short on rallies.

If you think risk is on then go short this pair, if you think risk is off go long..

I think risk off a better short is the EU.Yen as the Yen is the ultimate risk-off currency.

The chart is about to break that low and every single tick below the low is a new historic low..no way could I go long that pair unless it was a risk-off trade.

positive div in RSI on this pair...looks like a bounce is close..but youre right its near new lows so could be a bad move....man look at the longer charts though

RSI on the bottom of the weekly chart if you zoom out..lowest since July 06...but on a weekly candles are hundreds of pips

Well you know I have been long that pair before and it was misery.

To me you have to trade risk on and off, go with the pairs which take advantage of that the most.

One interesting thing here..and we should discuss this to get in front of the curve.

I am noticing the USD perking up more the last few days even with risk-on being the play.

To me they are starting to price in some inflation, with gold going up like it has..it could also mean that the FED might move sooner and that would be VERY bullish for the USD and be part of the reason why a normally hot AUD has been slumping relative to the USD the last few days..

Yeah...the dollar index took 85 again today and gave it back..but it looks poised to move higher..support line should be around 8275-83..

People were talking of AUD dropping because they were done with rates..and the slowdown in exports..i shoulda scalped that news though..most thoughts were for better #s and i couldve had 8940s...saw highs in the 90s shortly after the data and its prob headed to test the 9030 next res..

Well if we had any kind of idea about when the FED is going to stop spoon feeding these banks we could make some monster moves here..

I'm going to leave my lb short order in and also put orders in on top as usual in case it moves up even more.

We are getting to the point where starting those bullish USD trades is close if not here..

Risk off= USD long, inflation= USD long, higher rates=USD long.

man the only action all night looks to have been the gbp/yen spiked back up to almost 139.50 and back already. low 137 now. walls did catch that move with ur sell order ?? if you didnt u probably netted 200 + pips while u slept lol. I shoulda done the same before going to bed.

Well what works is that I have a moderate degree of confidence that I can shoulder a move against me and I can plan for it..so even if I am wrong it wont kill me.

Nice job fellas..i squeezed a few pips outta EU/GBP off a cross...had three str8 buy signals on EU/USD as well but couldnt do it...

JPY closing in on the target i mentioned last night...9250 coming i couldve sold 9320s...

I need to get this CAD trade off my back its making me not pull the trigger on everything i like

yeah this usd/cad pair is stubborn i dont see why the cad dollar is holding up so well here. usd index had the dollar near the highs of last week while the cad is hanging real tough vs it, everything else is falling against it.

added 2 lots here got my average down to 102.39. the chart looks like it wants to start a move on a cross up, if im wrong will be waiting for 100 to average again.
