Yeah, we all got issues on this site.  But never fear, there will be no freedoms in about 5 years.  This crap we're doing now (gambling, bashing Paulson, etc.....) will be severely punished by electrocution torture.  We doomed.

But for investors trying to figure out what to do now after a tumultuous week on Wall Street, market pros have some simple advice: don't rush back into stocks.

"I wouldn't be a buyer right now until these short-sale rules are lifted," says Michael Cohn, of Atlantis Asset Management in New York. "My recommendation to someone who wants to get into this market is you're going to have plenty of time between Oct. 2 (when the curbs expire) and Nov. 5 (presidential election)."

"After the election there could be a nice rally," Cohn adds. "But I think investors will have a chance to pick and choose good stocks between Oct. 2 and the election."

I think the biggest part of the rally will be between now and Oct 2

This thing is going to rally until the election and then those cautious investor...you know the ones that sold thursday morning ...will start buying back at marked up prices They said only buy oversold stocks that means don't chase anything that has just had a big poop.  I say buy the strength This has been brought to you by the Shadow Market committee.

Sellling FNM because 2.80 is 20 day ave and I am getting alot of company here I don't like company Paid .50 will lock it up

Holding 5000 LEHMQ at .19 hoping it gets squeezed too

For the record I bot my first 500 FNM at 6.72 and the second 5000 at .50. I did not expect this stock to do this this quickly I thought that it would take a couple of years to do this. They They had me down 3K and now I can clear out with net 8K.

I beleive that every defeat is an opportunity I use that approach and always make my first buy small that is the key start small and if you appear to be defeated then come after them

 

I want to stress that being right all the time is not possible The key to success is money mangement I learned the hard way that just because I think something is going to happen is not a reason to jump all over it . Sometimes I will end up fighting these guys over an idea for years. But proper money management will always take care of you. You need to have cash and lots of it on the sidelines at all times.

    I try to not have more than 10 positions at any one time 

Each position will ahve 3 buys if it goes against me.

Then that only repesents at the most 30% of my capitial

So each buy is 1/30 of my trading capital and most of my monye is in cash (70%) because sometimes I screw up
