You know a market is absolutely hideous when you have a down 100 or so points on the Dow, and you feel like crying you're so happy it wasn't 1000.
 
What a dismal, dismally negative environment we're in.

In this environment, you have to take any positive you can get.  It's a minor miracle it's only down 128 points today, it could have been much, much worse, especially the way the day started.
 
It's a sad state of affairs, but I think many will be happy with this today.  It should rally hard on Monday after the G7 meeting.

Nasdaq finished in the green (although barely).  That's a positive too.

First, that's one damn fine piece of woman in your avatar.  If you know her, I would spend every single bit of my time chasing her instead of this money crap. 
 
Second, I damn sure hope you're right about a rally Monday cause of G7 propoganda.  At about 2:30 to 3:00PM today, I was seriously thinking of going big time short this market when it was down 500+ and falling fast.  Someone with some big ass bucks was able to save it, cause this thing was headed to a down 1500 point day.
 
My head feels like it is about to farking explode.

Tell me there won't be a lot of drugs, fighting, and indiscriminate wild sex from people who trade for a living this weekend.  Goddamn those people are probably praying Monday never gets here.....just end this farking crummy ass world after Sunday night football.  Hahahahahahaha
 
This is the craziest sheet I have ever farking seen in a market place.  So much money at stake at every second, it seems.  Massive amounts can be won or lost within 45 seconds.
 
Time farking stands still when you're sitting on a gd trade totally in the red.
 
I need about a full case of vodka the next 2 days.

It for sure has been a wacky week.

What happened this week is the MMs stood away from their positions, large money was selling, not buying and without MM support and involvement and a sell side bias, this is what happens.

After the last 3 days, no joke, at around 2:50PM,  I was about to dump every single bit of cash I had in my account in to shorting SPY.
 
Somehow, I did nothing.  A farking miracle.
 
Had I done that and gotten sawed for 860 points in less than 30 minutes, I'd have jumped for sure.
 
This crap is beyond crazy.  It's like something out of a goddamn cartoon-----like anything Wile E Coyote does-----it blows up in his face.  This is how traders must feel.
 
I have no idea what to expect for Monday except wild volatility for 6.5 hours.  Farking insane.

Some syndicate/cartel with some MASSIVE CASH available was able to keep the averages afloat the last hour.
 
Whoever this syndicate is, or whoever was in on it------they have a HUGE stake in what happens Monday.
 
God I hope they're right and know something.
 
Only way to explain why the DOW didn't crash to 6500 by close.  It was right there on the table, and it wasn't allowed to happen.
 
Must've literally taken trillions of dollars to keep this from happening.
 
Someone plans on making a ton of money on Monday, cause if it doesn't happen, there could be someone going postal in some trading house.

What would really help us the most is for every single, gd mf-ing politician to take like the next 2 farking decades off!!!!!!
 
Personally, am NOT a fan of Bush/Cheney/and their cronies and what they've done for 7+ years.
 
But the alternative (the 2 clowns running for prez) is probably worse.

For the next 5 years, no joke, you could eventually see Dow 20,000.  But cause of the inflation boogyman that will reach category 5 status in about 1.5 to 2 years, 20,000 for Dow at end of 2013 will be like 8,000 today.

For the moment, got a few shares of GTLS and SYY with covered calls written for October (25 and 30 strikes respectively) and now am going to get all about gold bullion.
 
Bullion ought to beat inflation for the next 5 years as the bailout packages send prices soaring and the dollar down the toilet.
