He was looking at the daily or weekly charts...not to say we wont get our pips first..IDK how he came to that # must be a fib line or something???

hey guys a quick question... can u lose more then wuts in ur acct cause of leverage... sorry for the stupid quesstions i jus couldnt find the answer anywere... thanks

Also short the AU at .88 even.

No and youll never lose your entire account theyll do a margin call when you get down to 15% or something...just keep an eye on what you have wrapped up in a trade VS what free $$$$ you have sitting in the account

You are talking about the Yuan, not the Yen..

Not a big impact outside the effect it will have on imports and exports.

shorted AU also with you looking for 50 pips

Short GBP/jpy 134.80 10 lots got a stop on this 1 @ 135. think theirs some pips coming downward here. 13480 looks to be holding as resistance atm. looking for 50 pips but i may take whateve if it starts to move downward.

well that didnt go as planned. gonna look for a spot to re-enter that trade. maybe around 135.30 area

starting to think this week we could see gbp/jpy make its climb before it drops to 130's. maybe 138 for gbp. i think theyre gonna move the markets up also.  options expired friday so they want to paint a rosy picture that everything is back to climbing the wall of worry when they should be scared shitless that the economy is in the dumps only being propped up by the government.

thanks 4 answering buck i started a practice acct on forex.com with 2k... i got 1lot of eur/usd n its up 70 pips already.... now i kno u guys dont like using stops so then u can avg ur loses but  do u set a limit or do u jus watch it n sell wen u think its not gona go any higher?

gambler the answers both. we set limits say 100 pips or 50 pips or limit price before the next resistence or support area. or if you by the computer and just say aw what the hell ill take the $$ now, if it goes up it goes up. or sometimes i take the money and wait for clear direction for where i belive the pair is going. sometimes you may think you know exactly where a pair is heading but then things change and you have to be ready.  

the eur/usd  theirs resistance  @ 124.65 so if it clears 124.70 i think it will run higher into 125's.

I think you coulda got a better price on that LB....shes over 70 RSI on all my charts from the 1min through the 1hr chart...maybe not much but maybe 30 pips...i dont think shell sink past 13490 for now

1hr has the ADX at 50 and the -DI at 2.5...they cant get any further apart

my charts i think r off a little still. If have RSI right now  3am @ 65.068 for the 1hr chart. is that what u have buck ?


i think ur right buck it may go a little lower but i think 135/ 134.90 is support now and with all the markets as green as can be its game on for risk.

No doubt that level will play as support it say it in the chart for sure...i dont have my FOREX platform open im looking at my MT4 charts cause all the trend lines and stuff stay on i dont have to keep putting them up when i want to scan the charts...

Its at/near/over 70 on all my shorter charts but that doesnt mean it wont go higher stranger things have happened....illl say this though when i average in EU i will be jumping long CHF they should turn together

Looks like they gonna test that support right away...that was a quick 30 pips skim there....this pair isnt for those with a weak stomach

13490s held on the first few tests Pap..youll be fine either way though it looks like,just be sure to draw your TLs and look for MAs and average properly...i dont want to try to call a top but it should struggle to clear 136 but if EU runs to 12585 this will be higher than 136...

I know this doesnt need to be explained to you Pap but we have a few folks reading that are new...as well as a few people reading who dont post,im all about getting more people in here even if they find its not for them....theres no risk in opening a practice account and tryn to tag along in trades or finding their own way even just try it...im calling it a night fellas....

GET SOME PIPS!!!!!!

So I guess the stock market thinks that US exports are going to balloon with this Yuan "adjustment" but it hasnt factored in the large inflation that will also happen as Chinese imports will now be increasingly expensive.

Im thinking about closing my EU shrt here but the 4hr DIJA looks like its gonna cross lower....any thoughts guys??Do they run this or let it do what it should?
