You have to be kidding me. You are looking pretty pathetic saying I am short this stock just because my comments were critical AND correct.
The LAST thing I ever do when investigating a company is go on twitter looking for confirmation of anything. I think you are taking this way too personally and are scrambling for validation rather than looking at information square in front of your face and trying to make educated decisions.
It isnt the end of the world making a bad stock pick, but to blindly throw that SHORT label on someone that is critical of a company is pretty bush league without a doubt.
I would never short a tiny stock like this, but I do regret not shorting VRX. When that news first hit the thought in my mind was a good target for VRX was sub 30 and that was when the stock was still over 100...that if things sorted out that it could go down there. I didnt short that either, but really where is the juice in shorting a puny biotech like this one at the prices we were discussing the state of the company???
I always find it interesting when people have nothing positive to say about a company/stock and seem to be knowledgeable on the company/stock yet have no position. You've had nothing positive to say about this since the start, yet don't have a LONG position. Generally speaking, and you may be a rare breed, most folks don't have time to spend following/researching a play only to have 0 stake in the game. If I was not invested here, it is with 100% certainty I'd no very little about current events and where this is going. You seem to be paying close attention to this stock w/o an positional interest per you. So, let me ask, what is with the interest. Its not an Apple or a Google or a Tesla, or other big name. Its not a stock people just follow on a whim. Outside of Covers, where do you work? That may help me. Good luck fella

Read through this thread and you will figure out why I took some time to research this company.
From the start of this thread you involved many members and when you promote something and have 10 plus pages where people purchased a stock based only on your promotion, sometimes it FORCES us to get involved.
My past does not really matter but if you had followed this forum longer than a few years you would know I have a past as a broker and an accounting degree.
I know how to quickly evaluate a company in the same way many people do..based on financial analysis and observation of the operations of the company. Public information is so fast and detailed that anyone can get a solid understanding from a bit of research, and if you know what you are looking for and spend a bit of time you can get a GREAT deal of research and understanding.
I found it interesting that the bulk of your commentary and insight comes from twitter, yahoo message boards and relying on PR releases from the company. I had a time in my investing past where I would follow message boards like yahoo and I have to say that those times were probably some of the worst return periods I ever had.
You are blindly captivated by the story of this stock and if I believe your position story, you have lost a ton of money...that happens. I've bought into a story of a stock and lost, but based on the market pain I went through over the years I dont let ANY stock blindly lead me when I know it is going in the wrong direction. Ive been hammered many times, but I no longer let one stock overtake my portfolio, especially when it is going down.
Dont be upset at my analysis, I am not the only person who saw what the issues were and the price action of the stock was screaming at you, yet due to your personal attachment you ignored it and hopefully you will be able to catch some breaks and it will return to that 6-7 range for you.
I would suggest you spend less time on investing message boards, they pollute your thinking and make you less clear in your decision making processes.

Thanks for the advice, probably more useful for a newbie. I've not sold any outside of some trades where I profited early on, but have reinvested much. I've bought some as low as 80 and 90 cents. I have not sold but as of now underwater, I could have got out at 10. I did not want to. You can see when I bought. I have nothing to hide. I look at all sorts of MB, but mainly on stocktwits. I don't BUY anything based on what is said there, however there is a lot of researching of information that can be found. If you think I but/sell anything based on a mb rumor or comment your seriously mistaken.
Its a great story by the way. See where we end up. No guarantees. I'm holding 65k shares. I'll survive if it disappears but don't expect it to. I look forward to our new Amgen Marketing/Sales lead and what he does.

At 1.33 now after another drop. While I agree that you should hold to your guns if you already are committed (learnt from phixer), I do not understand why did you chose particularly MNKD while BMRN, ZIOP and XON were on the shelf?
I always try to figure what companies can be a buyout target and invest in them. Your investments are like imitating Buffet, but you don't have the following he does and you can't raise the price for whatever you invest for just because you invested in while someone like Buffet can. Men of our caliber should be on a lookout for short term investment with guaranteed results and when I buy some "unknown" stock - it s with the knowledge that the "unknown" is going to change soon.
Good luck thou!

Great tip Austrian. We need more like this. I don't know why any poster(s) would argue with wallstreetcappers He knows his stocks and is a proven commodity on here

70,000 shares, bought 5K the other day at 96 cents.
Have not sold any. I keep making money and adding it here. I still don't see anything that has deterred me about the product. The stock price blows, they diluted again, but product is still good. Been a long road but I'm continuing to forge ahead w/ it.

What is the chance of this company going BK? Looking to buy in the mid 70 cents. Played this stock 2 years ago pre-FDA approval and got in for $5 and got out at $10 once they had FDA approval. At current price some other company may just buy them out. However they are bleeding money and this will not be sustainable in the long run unless sales start to ramp up, which I can't see until sometime next year at best.

I own 160,000 shares right now. DCA is 2.013. Stock at .45 cents. I've bought as high as 10s but continue to buy down here. Lots of money at stake. Way under water, not selling though.

When this stock has been below a buck for so long it starts getting mega dicey because they will get the NASDAQ delisting notice for failure to be over 1.00 for a period of time and then it is either a reverse split or they go to the pink sheets..either way is likely more pain.
I never saw how they felt like they had the pockets to market this on their own, the results so far are not impressive and they are continuing to burn cash..

Is there any impact on this stock by Trump targeting drug companies? I know very little of MNKD, but could this lead to a share move higher in the stock?
