    That OMER is interesting...

Its a typical over-extended biotech that has little revenues, cash and likely a limited pipeline but the POTENTIAL is what drives this move.

The valuation on the company is near a BILLION as of today for a company with just over 50 million in sales.

One issue that for sure will come up, this move higher is an opportunity for the company to float shares and raise cash. Over the last 3 years they float about 10% of their shares (look at yahoo finance balance sheet info under common stock) so do not be shocked if they float within the next week or so.

Sometimes these potential stocks can bubble super huge and this move could continue..

OMS721 has potential to be huge..being tested on 5 indications, the results from phase 2 testing were terrific.2 billion dollar drug once passed and thats just US numbers.Omidria sales this yr around 90 million and its gaining steam qtr over qtr, that should help them fund further trials.I think I found a gem here.According to their conference call Thurs night they expect to release news on phase 3 testing by middle of 2018..and the FDA gave them an easy target to knock out of the park. This drug is prob gonna get accelerated approval and launch this stock.

There have been several biotechs over the years I have watched and some have gone from micro caps to billions of dollars market caps because of one big therapy/drug but you never know if the company will get approved and it is a huge huge gamble.

A good example is ANIK...look at that stock, I was following it and I think I even traded it when the stock was under 5 bucks...and it had a run then got crushed and traded dead for almost 5 years...then a bump and then crushed trading dead for 3 years. Then they finally break through and the stock was a 10 plus bagger at todays prices.

The issue is that the gamble can crush you like VVUS...same deal, had a huge move in the 90's then flatlined for like ten years then bump and now crushed. DXTR is the same story and many many more.

Biotechs are a huge major gamble and you are always fighting dilution, even in this name they are not cash flow positive and to take something through phase 2 and 3 is very capital intensive and they will dilute on bumps.

I think this OMER has less risk of being destroyed because they have revenues already and they are not a one trick pony but you are always rolling the dice that their trials work out and they dont bury you in dilution and that approval happens in a timely fashion, that they have a good marketing solution etc etc..

Its a bio so believe me I know this is a bit of a gamble but their results and FDA allowing endpoint being a reduction proteinuria almost makes this a sure thing judging on past results.Phase ll trails showed what theyre looking for...any results like that again and this is gonna fly

Here is a biotech to look at. SHPG. The forum here will love it because it's down over $100 from $250 all the way down to $144. Their earnings have been poor but projected earnings indicate a Price/PE ratio of just 8.72. If they hit their projections, the stock will go up.

It's down 25% this year. Unlike many penny stocks, this company will still be around in 25 years. This is a gamble that could pay off.

Full disclosure. I do own this stock.

SHPG up to $150 today from $144 when I posted last week on 11/16. I see this stock moving higher.

I also looked into OMER, which has been on a very nice run in 2017. With several drugs in stage 3 clinical studies, this is a classic boom or bust situation. By the time this company starts generating positive earnings, it will be too late to invest.

I disagree on OMER Gamble..if OMS721 hits market stock will surely explode but even if you miss 50% gain I think it would still be a good long term play.As time passes they will get to add more indicatiins to label and Omidria sales will continue to boom, they are still looking to partner in Europe.
Not a huge fan but seeking alpha just had a write up and thinks 20x return on investment is likely inside of 10 yrs.Theres no way it takes that long IMO,if they get OMS721 out..one indication in US alone is worth more than a billion.
With 721 success they will have all the cash they need to get the rest of that pipeline going adding fuel to the fire..
I closed my positions in Zagg and Katff,if this fails its gonna hurt me a bit but I just dont see that happening.

Let me know what you end up doing with the OMER stock, if it drops below 18 it will fill that gap up from the 10th and then lets see what happens.

Im holding long term and will only add to position from here.Honestly Im thinking about flipping the house I bought instead of renting and dumping even more back in market.I took money out cause I was a puss regretting it more and more everyday.I made several good calls and having less cash in play has cost me way more than I can make back on the property.Hell just the stocks I sold have gained more than I will make off the house.
My biggest regret right now is I choose LC over AMC for a swing trade.Had I left money in I wouldve had both.AMC was near 11 now mid 14s in just a few weeks.

Yanks I will take a look..Wall is prob better guy for delving into the fundamentals of a company and giving an assessment
Currently Im in LC right around todays closing price..everything else Im in has already moved significantly in my favor and recommending those now could net only losses for new buyers at current levels.I do like OMER still of course, several articles out over the last week all of which talked of multi bagger type gains..one even said 20x current investment.
I really do think this could be life altering type of run on this stock in the next 24 months.

XLF ($27.18) and BAC ($28.07) are up 4% and 5% in just the past 2 days of trading. I know for some here the banks are too slow moving, while others just hate the banks for their past sins, but I don't care about any of that. I buy and hold for the long run and I like MAKING MONEY.

Just buy and hold and thank me in 10 years.

Nice run in OMER this week by the way. It seems that America is indeed getting rich with Trump! Everything keeps going up, up and up!

    Sorta scary....but good scary.

PS...My Trump comment is a reference to the CNBC 5pm show. They love showing the "America Gets Rich" graph with Trumps photo in the middle.

Still waiting for LC..would love to get 4.30..set a limit buy today for that price but no luck...will watch tomorrow maybe I get lucky and she dips a bit more to 4.20s.I think it closed right on my first buy price today..so theres a chance it slips even further.
That tease to 4.60 is hopefully whats to come 2nd week of Dec,Id like to be in if shes runs on press from investor day.
Omer slow climb again today..22s early next week, surprise PR and we see it test all time high 27s.

OMS721 fits the bill for what the FDA is looking for in this sped up approval proccess..
Take a flyer here folks..youve been given all the evidence you need.Omidria sales climbing still only 8% of potential market..at this $20 their pipeline isnt even priced in.Not speculating, thats a fact.

Only issue is how long you might have to wait...also dilution I really think happens. Their burn tells you that they will dilute to fund, it happens about every two years and its about time.

OMER still has a line of credit for 25 mill I believe..even if they do sell some shares Omidria sales will keep beating estimates and as I stated before only 8% of market share right now but thats changing.Omidria being looked at for use with kids too(results were promising so thats even more revs, write up this from 22nd of Nov results and filing in article).
Im thinkimg about taking out some long term options here..I can risk 8gs and rake in some crazy cash IMO.Would love to see this slide on pass through news.If that happens Im going for the lotto payoff and I might just do it anyway.Im pretty confident this is much higher in 12-18 months

I got LC back yesterday..got a bit greedy and missed the 4.18 dip but I grabbed some at 4.27.Hoping to catch fire here to $5 we will see how it goes. Will not take a loss of more than 8% here-10% but I would be willing to hold if it quickly slides below that.I think 4 is pretty solid hopefully its not tested.GL to all this week, years almost over FINISH STRONG YALL!

Astute investors picked up 7% and 10% respectively on the XLF and BAC over the past month. I have been in both of these holdings for a long time, but 7% and 10% over the past month is not a bad gig for anyone that entered positions after my recommendation on any of the November dips.

As I said on October 29th, the time has come for financials to have their day in the sun. This is just the beginning, especially considering the newly passed tax reform. Banks will prosper!

I fist recommended the XLF in November of 2016 to my friends that come to me for stock tips. They are loving that I put them in the top performing sector of 2017. 2018 should be more of the same. If you don't have a ton of cash, just buy 100 shares in these positions on any dip. However, be forewarned.....the dip will likely be a small one or may not come at all.
