Anybody buying this stock? The madness here is just insane. Reminds of the tech stocks in the late 90's where every tech name sky rocketed. I'm thinking there's a real story behind TSLA unlike the stupid dotcoms back then. Who's buying?

One of the few solid investments I hold since Nov 2011 (33$ a share). I have a great faith in the Pay Pal guy and sure the numbers will well hit 140 till the end of the year

I've got a friend"Joisey Frankie" who shorted this to his chagrin. I can see his thinking, when was the last successful auto start up, Ford? But this Musk guy is a kind of crazed genius who has a great feel for the future. Sure , right now it's probably only celebrities and braggarts buying these but with volume lower prices will come and the natural gas boom creates cheap environmentally acceptable electricity[OK, that's only true if you ignore the damages of fracking] The fact that he also had the buisness acumen to create Paypal, which I personally hate but accept as a winning business concept[yeah Ebay, I hate you too] Tesla, great name, Nikola you da man, looks to have a great future as a first mover.

Good luck, too many people are already on this bandwagon for me to jump in here. The easy money & super hype are over. Not saying it can't run more, momo stocks can go for a while. Not worth it anymore though IMO

I don't think the run is over yet, not many Tesla car on the road. I hear they're trying to improve longer mileage, more charge station and new model.

I think it's only a matter of time before Musk has enough with Tesla IMO. He is already mincing words with the likes of "recalls" with the DOT. This guy is a tech guru and has already established himself as someone that can develop an electric car ... and is quite stylish. He has proved his point, but I wonder how much he wants to handle with the Auto business.
The Auto business carries a lot of baggage, and I wonder if he has the mettle for it. Much different than the tech business he is accustomed to thriving in.
