If you want a really good meal and don't mind eating early, here's the play. Sunday through Thursday get to the Bellagio around 3:30 pm to 3:45 pm. They'll be a line because if you get to the register and pay by 4 pm, you get the lunch price which is about 20 bucks. After 4 pm it's the dinner price of about 30 bucks. The feature at this buffet is the crab legs. They're fantastic and already split for you.

M resort for dinner, Bellagio, Main street station(if downtown)., Wicked spoon at the cosmopolitan, rio is good ...just miss the days before Harrahs owned it, so much better.

Always been a fan of the Treasure Island buffet. I like the selection and usually go through the same routine. Pasta station. Often get spaghetti and marinara, but they have four other pasta selections. It's all made to order. Then salad station, get this Tuscan Bread concoction they make.
Sit.
Eat.
Next up: barbeque station. Though I'm I pescatarian, I'll have the cornbread, mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, something green, and cranberry sauce.
Sit.
Eat.
If I'm in the mood, I'll get something asian. If not, I'll head for dessert and get cherry pie and vanilla ice cream. And if I'm in the mood, I'll save room for donuts. They use to make a Heath Bar crusted donut, but they haven't since MGM sold the resort to Phil Ruffin.
Anyway, repeat, sit, eat. Feel guilty. Do a six mile run from TI to Mandalay Bay and back the next day.

The M resort,it was better before Penn National took over but it is still the best around if you like buffets, plus you get free beer and wine if you like.Im not a big fan of buffets so I am very critical.

As Irving said, I personally like the Mirage's buffet (called Craving's). Has about 7-10 different cultures of food to choose from (Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Raw Bar, Mexican, etc.). Pretty good IMO.

The Bellagio comes through time and again by reviews as the best buffet in Vegas. Unfortunately, most travelers know that, and the lines are unbearable. MGM Grand, Mirage, and Mandalay Bay offer up some good buffet, short of Bellagio.

The Wynn has a remarkable buffet, it was my first Vegas buffet and i remember thinking this was heaven. Lol the only problem was that it was like $44 or something, but it was amazing

The Mirage by far is the best I've been to. I've gone to Vegas six times in the last ten years and tried lots of buffets but the Mirage exceeded all of them.
