(Guys, this is how the process goes for those being comped tickets/passes by the casino)
Once a fight or major event is announced the hosts & casinos start bombarding VIP players with mail, emails, & even calls to alert them to "the big fight". Once a player confirms that he/she is coming in, then the his/her casino host adds him to his/her roster of "show ups". The day before the fight (usually friday) once most have arrived, the HOSTS & EXECS GO INTO A WARROOM, so to speak. This is what goes down: Host A will say: I got Mr. Johnson comin in & he plays black jack at $200 avg for 5hrs a day & hes been with us for over 10years, "he needs to be within the first 20 rows). Host B will say: I got bigkat coming in & he bets 450 avg for 2hrs a day & has been with us for 5years & Host C will say, I have Mr. X coming n who bets 1500 per hand baccarat & he wont confirm & has threatned to take his business to Caesars if he's not within the first five rows. etc. etc. etc. I found out that this is why host only give u a "general area" like "the best, very good, good seats" etc. This is because right up until the day of the event they are busy arguing & sorting who is there & who is not & trying frantically to place people as best as possible to that everyone is happy. This is also why, you cant pick u your tickets or VIP Neckbadge until The day of the fight, Usually saturday morning after 1:00pm.
